Beautiful instrument .

A great instrument for a beginner, and maybe even longer.

I read all of the reviews about how awful it was to buy anything less than a Yamaha etc...and I just want to say that my son loves his instrument

But other than that, the instrument is beautiful and we received a lot extras for the money we paid.

We have since purchased a better name brand instrument for her.

This is a wonderful instrument...not just for students

However, beginners already have enough of a challenge learning a new instrument, getting used to practicing, etc., and having a poor quality instrument can be very discouraging

Engravings on bell and bow are simple compared to expensive instruments, but the engravings on the Mendini saxophone are really a nice accent

Used instruments will have their own problems and not look half as nice as this while costing twice as much, easily

In the 50 years that I had not played a sax, I forgot what a loud instrument it is

But even at that, I don't think you could get a better instrument for the price we got this one

His music teacher has not made any comments negative or positive regarding the instrument, and I'm sure she would say something if there were a problem with it.
