Slides move well, and it is in tune but the valves are trash

Some of the reviews for this trumpet said it was garbage and the valves were junk

The valves aren't right

( I also make sure the valves are oiled and the horn cleaned out after two days of practicing on it).With my favorite mouthpiece ( and a mouthpiece can make all the difference in tone and response ), it soundsgreat.

When we took the valves out to clean them we had a 1, 2 and 2 (should be 3)

Unfortunately I have had trouble with sticky valves

It is a good looking trumpet and plays good for a beginner, The first valve is a little sluggish but not to bad

One valve was a little sluggish but a little lube freed it right up

There's ALWAYS something wrong with these kinds of instruments, whether it's a faulty valve, stuck slides, poor finish, etc

The only problem is, the paint is starting to tarnish and the valves also is starting to tarnish.

My only complaint is that valve 2 sticks slightly, despite oiling and adjusting it-- we are working on breaking it in and hopefully it will resolve with more use.

The trumpet is great for its price not saying its gonna be better than a more expensive one but its a great case good sound quality valves are a bit cheap and can get sticky quite

Looks great - but valves stick!

Rather than get one of each which is what was needed, our trumpet had no third valve and two first valves

The valves work well with no hint of sticking, and there is not much valve leakage

Their valves, which are necessary for playing, feel awful

The silver finish is perfect, stays in tune, valves are a little sticky at first but loosen up with playing.

My son bought this with his birthday money even after we read all the reviews about chipping paint and sticky valves

The finish is nice and it works as it should
