Instrument is nice and has fairly good sound, so overall good deal for the price!
This "Mendini" pic has a fair enough tone to my ear (I've only been dealing with the 1st two octaves)

Maybe it isn't a top quality instrument but it's strong, very well built, with a very powerfull sound and absolutely beautiful, a real bargain for the price
to try and protect it more because it is not a sturdy, well built instrument I guess
It feels really well built, and does not seem like it would break to easily The black resin is beautiful, and definitely worth the extra ten dollars from a silver one

The cleaning cloth does not fit into the instrument nor does the cleaning rod
The only complaint would be that the cleaning cloth provided will not fit inside the body - not a problem
As for the cleaning rod and the cloth, you can order a mess of rods here, use an old cotton white t-shirt (cut to size
The only issue as mentioned in previous reviews is that the cleaning cloth provided does not fit into the instrument.
The cleaning cloth doesn't fit in the piccolo, so I can't clean the inside (it might be wise to purchase another cloth just for the inside), but it is good for basic cleaning

Often times they do not tune properly, lack tone quality necessary for good ensemble playing, and are cheaply made
and after I did he said the sound quality was great and he also examined the piccolo to see if there was anything wrong with it from shipping but there was none
Overall, this piccolo has a very nice sound quality and great playability
