The only good things were the color is beautiful and the itty bitty paper booklet

I asked my sister in 2015 how was the trumpet holding up and she said the sound is great, the color is great, and NO mechanical problems (valve sticking, spit leaking, rough edges, etc) and she recommends it for middle school age kids, I should mention she has been playing since middle school herself and is about to go to college and play for college with the same trumpet, so it must have some level of credibility if her high school and college directors accepted it

The trumpet itself is well made with quality materials, great welds where needed, accurate threading where needed, a great colored finish and produces a great sound and tone

GREAT!The color is very nice, and have to say, that even as a Trombone player, i was able to pick the horn right out of the box and play a chromatic scale from a low C - A above the staff just fine.

so I sent it to my high school sister, and bought different instruments (clarinet and Flute) by the same company Mendini (both which are still in great shape and color)
