I played trumpet in 7th and 8th grade and this is as good quality as the one that I had (which was a much more expensive brand) when I was playing.

I can't afford to buy her top quality instruments for every interest she has

GOOD QUALITY BRASS INSTRUMENTS are lacquered BRASS- not COPPER LEAD (which bends like a pipe cleaner, is hard to repair, and sounds like crap)

it's pre oiled and the valves are soooo smooth and the design is so perfect the trumpet is very high quality

I won't go into all the details, but worst is the quality of the craftsmanship on the instruments.
