I can't say if the tip will last as long as the micron pens because I just started using them, but the colors are great, the lines are even and consistent to size and they have a great feel on the paper.

Having more colors available is a big help to marking my Bible (if the needed color isn't available in pen, I'd use a colored pencil - but I can't get as fine a line as I want/need with a pencil).The Micro Line pens are less expensive than Pigma Microns
