Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard for Business (5KV-00001 )

    • I use Better Touch Tool on my Mac to reconfigure the keys to act as function keys instead.
    • A nice touch is the calculator button directly on the number pad, which automatically pulls up the windows calculator application
    • The touch of the keys is the only advantage of this keyboard
    • What I'm not crazy about: the soft touch of the keys can actually be a hindrance, thinking they are such a soft touch that you may not press quite hard enough, especially the space bars
    • Nice fell and touch
    • The touch on the keys is good--solid enough feel for good touch typing, but doesn't take a lot of force to activate
    • It is easier on my wrist, has a 10 key that you can move around, and has the flatter soft touch keys I love
    • Key touch is good
    • It is too bad because the ergonomics are perfect including excellent touch quality
    • The way it magnetically snaps together is a nice touch
    • The split keyboard is a nice touch and the separate key pad is very handy because I can use the mouse in my right hand and the key pad in the left.
    • Such a comfortable keyboard and light touch is all that is needed to use it
    • Microsoft Wedge Touch Mouse etc).Upon receiving the Sculpt keyboard-only
    • Finally MS has a good touch type ergonomic keyboard again
    • The keys provide excellent feedback versus my laptop, the contour fits my wrists perfectly, and the wrist pad has a nice soft touch feel to it
    • What I love: the sleekness & size, the soft touch and quietness of the keys
    • Nice fell and touch
    • This was recommended because the style of the keys is supposed to encourage a lighter touch
    • The touch is soft and quiet; the separate numeric keypad is not as annoying as other reviewers have said; and even tho the keyboard seems wide and comfortable, it also feels light and streamlined, much less bulky than other ergonomic keyboards I have used.
    • The keys are a very soft touch so my hands don’t hurt after 8 hours of keyboarding.
    • The key touch is soft and quiet and the shape of the board is perfect
    • If the keyboard was more reliable I would replace all my wired ergo keyboards with it because of the superior touch and separate number pad.
    • The "floating" numpad is a nice touch as I can move it out of the way when not in use
    • The touch of the keys is quite soft, crisp, and short, like the keyboard of macbook, may take some time to adapt
    • and I love the touch and feel of the materials and key strokes.
    • The top right switch for moving the top row keys from Function keys to laptop style option keys is a nice touch, and keeps the keyboard, with its necessary wrist rest, more compact in depth.- Though the space bar arrangement (and the N key for that matter) are different you still get used to them within a few minutes (however, I wish the standard sized location dimple on the F and J keys was a little bit taller JUST for this keyboard
    • The touch and feel is very comfortable and you can type fast (e.g., >60 words a minute) without any problem
    • What I'm not crazy about: the soft touch of the keys can actually be a hindrance, thinking they are such a soft touch that you may not press quite hard enough, especially the space bars
    • Nice keyboard and the included separate numpad is a nice touch although I basically never use it
    • The keys are soft touch versus others that require a harder type stroke so there is less fatigue over longer use.
    • The magnetic battery cover is a nice touch
    • The magnetic doors & such are a cool touch (although you'll want to avoid putting your credit cards on/near your keyboard when shopping online lest they get their magnetic stripe wiped)
    • The main keyboard is nice and compact and the keys don't go clickety-clack as in days of old, but is a nice soft touch like Apple has had for almost forever
    • The magnetic attachments are a nice, sleek touch, along with the tiny wireless receiver
    • Nice touch there
    • Great touch response, very confortable to use for extended periods of time (not that it should be done but sometimes work requires it!).
    • But its a nice touch.
    • You get a nice tactile touch without loud clacking
    • Love the feel and touch of this ergonomic keyboard.
    • (I am a slow touch typist.)This happens in all programs, so it must be an issue with the
    • The magnetic feature is a nice touch and adds to the futuristic design
    • Easy key touch.

    • The "U" key broke after 3 months
