Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard for Business (5KV-00001 )

    • I like the design so much - seriously, the most ergonomic and comfortable keyboard I have used - so I decided to purchase again, but I also purchased one for someone else in my department
    • Otherwise, continues to be the best looking and most comfortable keyboard I've used.
    • I usually try keyboards for a while then get rid of them as "not as good" as the one I've used for years; this one gets equal time
    • I hope to get used to it soon, so far so good.
    • It has held up well for gaming (not that I am super competitive) and regular desk use
    • This is non-standard to every other keyboard, which makes it a pain to get used to
    • Honestly, overall physical design, it's the best keyboard I've ever used
    • Love it, but I wish it had some sort of backlighting, in the dark it's near impossible to identify where special characters are, and I do a decent job using correct typing technique.
    • 1st key struck after keyboard has not been used for several minutes, does nothing
    • I gave it a week of use thinking I'd adjust, but it really was just too far to reach for comfortable use.
    • I've been using ergo keyboards for years, and this the best yet
    • I experienced cramp in fingers while using this keyboard
    • (I'm fine using my laptop keyboard for days on end)
    • After using this product for two months, I would say that it does the job pretty well, but it's not ideal for many situations
    • This is one of the most comfortable keyboards I've use in a long time
    • Half the time I my hand goes in that direction, I knock it right off my desk because I'm not used to the mouse being so tall.
    • The keyboard itself is one of the better ergo designs I've used, but there are a couple things that are pushing me to find an alternative.1
    • I'm taking off one star because I'm having a little trouble getting used to the delete key.
    • Best keyboard I have ever used
    • But, heavy use and it is still going strong.
    • Further more, it could just be mine, but it is the worse responsive wireless mouse I have used?
    • I've had this for about a month at work now as a network engineer and this is the best keyboard I've ever used.
    • It took a bit of getting used to, but my wrists thank me.
    • One of the best keyboards I've used.
    • Best keyboard I have ever used
    • Its a shame because otherwise this keyboard is the best keyboard I've ever used.
    • Best keyboard I've ever used
    • And making use of the shape to improve the layout
    • The best keyboard I've ever used that is not made by Apple
    • This is easily one of, if now the greatest keyboard that I have ever used
    • First, from an ergonomic perspective this is the best keyboard I've ever used
    • The downward tilt is a great improvement and the spacing and key angle just what I was used to.
    • I had to research online to learn how surprisingly problematic constant lap top use is . . . waiting for my young adult kids to start complaining about it
    • But I should mention this: once you get comfortable using this keyboard, going back to a laptop or a generic keyboard feels very awkward and clumsy
    • Also, for those that have used other Microsoft ergonomic keyboard, the wrist rest is not nearly as soft as the wired model.
    • and I'm here to tell you that it's one of the best keyboards that I've ever used
    • If you're like me and you are using Excel all day long and are fond of shortcuts, then be aware
    • The use of two different battery types (one for each of the devices) is a huge head ache in the near future and just bad planning on Microsoft's part (read stupid)
    • If having an ergo keyboard that is fairly compact sounds good you will like this, plus the separate number keypad allows you to move it out of the way when not in use freeing up space, Onlydownside for me is the small esc key, I use AutoCAD
    • If using applications with autocorrect, its not too bad
    • However, with consistent use, it makes lots of sense.5.
    • If the caps lock indicator was fixed, I'd have no problem proclaiming this to be the best keyboard I've used so far.
    • Otherwise, this is my favorite keyboard I've ever used.
    • Overall, though, it's the most comfortable keyboard I've ever used, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for an ergonomic keyboard
    • I'll have to get used to splitting my spacebar usage between thumbs again, since the older keyboard trained me to use my right exclusively
    • It forms to one's hands nicely and feels great using it.
    • I was expecting it to be difficult to get used to or otherwise a pain in the rear to use, but it works.
    • I really love this form fitting keyboard, it is the most comfortable one I have ever used and
    • I had to research online to learn how surprisingly problematic constant lap top use is . . . waiting for my young adult kids to start complaining about it
    • I still miss these keys from time to time and I've been using this keyboard for several weeks now
    • It's the most comfortable keyboard I've used.
    • I would say it is the best keyboard I have ever used for work
    • The detached keypad takes a little getting used to but works great, I just need to stop thinking it is my desktop calculator!
    • Comfortable to use, once you're used to the gap in the middle
    • six months of happy use, I bought one for my home system as well
    • Still, even with its quirks, I think this is the best keyboard I've ever used.
    • This is the best keyboard I have ever used.
    • I had this keyboard for 2 years before it malfunctioned (I had lost the use of a column of keys - 5, r, f
    • Further more, it could just be mine, but it is the worse responsive wireless mouse I have used?
    • This is the best keyboard I have ever used.
    • I love the use of magnets that makes removing and attaching the raiser a breeze.
    • The best non-mechanical keys Ive ever used.
    • I never though I would like a keyboard more than my ancient Microsoft Natural Elite but this is the best keyboard I've ever used
    • However, the feel is fantastic and now that I'm getting used to the new location of the special control keys like delete, home, end, and etc, I like the keyboard
    • It's the most comfortable keyboard I've ever used, period.
    • It took a little getting used to, but it hasn't bothered me
    • It's light, stylish and a good use of magnets in the design
    • This is by far the most comfortable keyboard I've ever used
    • this time, I am skipping the mouse). From typing's and ergo's perspective, this is the best keyboard that I have used, bar none
    • I actually have the rest on all the time as I haven't felt pain since using this
    • I wasn't sure I liked it at first, and worried that their proximity might mess up my use of the Enter, backslash, and Backspace keys, but that didn't happen
    • It's the most comfortable keyboard I've used.
    • I've been using Microsoft's split / ergonomic keyboards for past 15 years - and this keyboard in every way is a great improvement on previous models
    • The first one worked for nearly two years in a consistent use office setting
    • ESC key became unresponsive after 3 month of gentle use
    • This is about the coolest keyboard I've ever used
    • This keyboard is the most comfortable keyboard I have ever used
    • Quite simply the best keyboard I've ever used
    • That, and the wrist risers makes this one of the most comfortable keyboard I've used in a long time
    • Probably the most comfortable one I have used.
    • I type everyday for work and am a pianist and accompanist, so I have been dealing with a repetitive use wrist injury
    • Despite these issues it's the best bluetooth ergo keyboard I have used.
    • I got used to it immediately and my wrists do not hurt anymore.
    • The best keyboard I've used so far
    • I am still getting used to it, and maybe my opinion will improve as I gain more experience with
    • I am a Phd student and also code for a tech startup, so I type a lot, and I was getting bad wrist pain using a normal keyboard which went away and so far so good using this one
    • I don't notice as much wrist pain as using a standard keyboard, and now going back to normal is difficult for me.
    • Primarily I can't stand that the scroll Lock is so close to the backspace, it gets enabled far too often (making it hard to navigate Excel docs using the arrow keys).Probably would pass on buying this keyboard next time around.
    • This Microsoft product is the best keyboard I've used.
    • These traditional keys require longer presses than chiclet keys -- hence my fingertip pain from using the 4000.However, since this Sculpt keyboard uses chiclet keys that have very shallow keypresses, my fingers don't have to work as hard and my pain is gone
    • it's one of the best keyboards I've used
    • Too bad it's also the worst keyboard I've ever used.
    • The keys are very snappy, they feel great and the function buttons are a good use of the F keys with just a flip of the switch
    • I write for roughly 6-8 hours per day (sometimes more) and was used to horrible wrist and elbow pain on a regular basis-- so much so that I would lose use of my arms some days and could hardly bear to drive home from work when it was all over
    • I've not quite worked out a use for the separate number pad, but I can see doing something fun with that, too.
    • I really like the use of magnets in the design, much like the surface and accessories.
    • This is the best Keyboard I've ever used.
    • I see now that they are essentially not available (or over $120 and in some cases that is for used - ridiculous)
    • I have to say it's the best readily available keyboard I've used
    • I started getting finger pains after using this keyboard.
    • I gave this keyboard 1 star because Microsoft is discriminatory and so anti-minority that they did not make a left handed mouse for this keyboard only an ergonomic right handed mouse which cannot be used by the a left-hand
    • The "U" key broke after 3 months
    • The first one had a defective U key that feels like something is stuck under it.
