You can't update the system without the hard drive inside!

When everything was plugged in, this error message came on (E68), according to x-box customer support, it is a hard drive error

When we pulled out the hard drive per Xbox support, there were severe scratches on both sides

The system kept on giving error message, when I researched the error online, it said to remove the hard drive
