Radios do not perform as advertised Lucky to get 1/4 mile reception on flat land

This is deceptive advertising by both Amazon and Midland.

Considering that the product advertises 36-48 mile range, a failure to perform this bad can only be blamed on false advertising.

Keep in mind that CB, FRS/GMRS radios are "line of sight", so when you have obstacles it will not be as efficient as advertised

(a) they work great across a yard, and save a lot of walking/yelling(b) the NOAA Weather Channels work as advertised (VERY important here in Florida!)(c) their dual-Battery Charger works just fine; I don't know how long the batteries last, though.(d

They helped to facilitate intermittent conversation between my wife and I as we travelled across the great expanses that makeup our great country.

we use them to move across the country and have been using them at her new apartment as well as when we go out.

We use these to communicate on our 20 acre property as well as during disaster drills held in our community.

They won't work nearly as well as much more expensive HAM hand held radios but they generally allowed communication when we tried.

n’t attest to how far the range is, but within a few hundred yards they worked perfectly.

I have used A’s on numerous hunting trips they work well!

I just keep AA’s on the trucks and they work great
