I ordered me a set of these radios & they have so many features that i can't write about all of them it would take nothing less of a novel to tell all of the good & useful features that these radios pack I may have to get a FCC License to use the GMRS Channels & thats pending now back to the radios I love everything about the 2 ways they have that VOX hands free use & a set of head phones & they work perfectly it did take some adjusting to get me dumbo ear to fit the head phone i will be using .I chose the Midland GTX1050VP4 because my dad has a older set of them & they ar estill working as good as my new one so that tells me that they are in for the long haul dad bought his over 10 years

I would hope we just got a very bad set.

Tried using the vox as a baby monitor and on the most sensitive setting she had to cry to set it off which is ok.

I bought this set for my 5 and 7 year old boys and they work great

You got noisy, weak set of walkie-talkies

Great set of two-ways !!!

i bought 2 sets of these radios, and 2 of them no longer work,

First bad set had a battery that did not charge.

Which led me to the Midland GXT1050VP4 36 Mile set

Excellent set!

Over all i would recommend these radios for a decent set of walkie talkies

Otherwise, great set of walkie talkies for anything else.

I might take a risk and buy a second pair of GTX1000s as I need 4 radios... maybe this time I will be lucky and get a better set and if not I will know to return them immediately

If you're wanting a good & extremely well made set of 2 way radios then buy you a set of the midland GTX1050VP4 2 Way radios from Midland

It it always possible that we just got a bad set of radios

The Second set of radios had a model number of GTX1000P and were very clear and easy to understand when scrolling through the menu

This is our 3rd attempt to find a good set.

I would still recommend this set.

Not like a cheap set for little kids.

I've bought 3 sets and I lose them

The first set worked great for a few weeks then one radio stopped working, It would turn on but would not transmit or receive

The first set of radios I got had a model number of GTX1000 and when scrolling through the menu the first thing I noticed was that without the instruction book I had know idea what I was looking at

It has a descent range with easy set up and durable construction

We're using them in a a very rocky, hilly setting, and we have no trouble with interference

Excellent walkie talkie set, as well as great walkie talkies

Good little set, radios receive good, I don't like the popping noise I sometimes get when receiving a station on the border of the squelch limit, and also without automatic tone decode like on the Motorola radios if in an emergency the other station might not here you if they have a tone on and do not know how to change it.

this is my first set of radios and they have worked pretty well so far

This is the second set we've purchased and we love them all.
