Good value for the money, but doesn't hold a charge as long as some the Motorola ones, and when battery is done, it locks up the channel you are using, and the only way to turn it off it to remove battery or wait an hour till it totally dies.

I would say this product has good value.

Overall as a child's toy or close communications these work great and are a great value but for longer range you will want something more powerful.

Really disappointing as they seemed to have a great range when we first took out of the box

Will work for that purpose as we will be traveling within sight of each other.

Battery lasted us maybe 8 hours (drove from LA to Phoenix one time with a few stops, and the batteries dies just as we were pulling into our destination).
