Worked well to keep my rug down on horizontal tiles but on vertical tiles going down stairs, the rug lifted off a bit,

holds the rug in place perfectly but also peels up easy if the rug is dirty and I need to throw it in the wash!

So far has worked great holding down rugs to short carpet
