Black is great but a polished silver, grey, or white would be just as nice looking.

This item is plastic and appears to be well-made, although since it is plastic it is not the nicest looking - but it works and was a fair

It does work for what I want it for and I will be keeping it for sure, but if you're looking for durability and a nicer-looking stand, maybe go for a more expensive one.
