If need be and in a dark room I have had the image up to 200"

The brightness is fine for a dark room and again for the projectors size, 1800 lumens is more than expected

It has 1500 lumens so you really need a dark room if you want to project a bigger picture

I was hesitant to buy this product, based on some reviews that said the picture wasn't so good unless the room was completely dark.

It is a really good portable projector bright enough for watching movies etc with dark curtains drawn but beautiful in dark room

So for a need to project an iPad or a laptop screen in a pinch, even in a semi dark room, this is great!

Cons:Has to be used in a semi-dark room in order to see image clearly

Reviews are spot on: must be used in a dark room and use an external speaker, Wifi connectivity would be nice.

As you can see in my photos, picture quality is much better when the room is dark, but is still fair when there is some light on

In a darkened room, it was a fantastic picture.

The sound quality (8 out of 10) is good too especially in a small setting such as a living room, kitchen and bedroom

I suggest you to use it in a dark room so you can get the full perfect quality

I loved the projector it was perfect for camping i compared it to many others and this was the best choice its very quiet and produces very clear picture in dark rooms i can use it great with my iPhone fits in my pocket over all its a beautifully designed mini projector

I was amazed at how well it projects the image, obviously it is dim when there is light, but excellent for camping or presentations in a darker room.

I tested it with my Ifone X & laptop using the HDMI port with very nice crisp powerpoint slides/pictures/ video images in a completely dark room
