I had high hopes for this as all I do is drink coffee; sadly, while it does keep the bottom of my coffee cup nice and hot, it does nothing for the coffee inside

The 3 stars is for the hot plate because it does keep my coffee warm all day the -2 stars is for misrepresentation of selling a mug and warmer together.

but I noticed awhile back that what comes out of them does not taste like coffee

The pros are it does keep my coffee warm, however after several use, I have to put weight on my mug for it to light up

We have used coffee warmers for years but one of the negatives about them is the bottom(that touches the counter) of the device always gets really hot and this product does not.
