Seems like poor design planning.

It has a sleek design with a fun and novel watch display.

This week the Shine registered some of my activity as vigorous and I am receiving 6 activity points from WW.I love the design, it looks like a watch, lightweight and good quality product

The Misfit Shine is a very innovative, well-designed product that I highly recommend to any college student to help stay on top of the game.

Pros: no need to charge, easy synching, auto sleep tracking, water-proof, cool watch featureCons: poor band design, only gives you two days of tracking with your friends, doesn't recognize stair climbing, and I wish it had a way to track water drinking.

Super easy to use, unobtrusive (I clip it to my bra if I don't want it to show), elegant design, no charging required, and super strong (yes, I've put it through the washer AND dryer, and it still works perfectly).

It is a beautiful design, the strap version was comfortable, I loved the size and the fact that I would clip on my clothes, but it doesn't work consistently

But, it is waterproof, has a very nice minimalist design, and can be worn as either a wrist strap or a clip on

For whatever the reason, I chose to ignore all the negative posts about lost misfits as a result of a defective design (unit easily dislodges from wrist strap)

The shine is an amazingly designed piece of tech, it has been a replacement for a watch while still giving me easy acces to feedback and added motivation to help put me on the path to better fitness.

I completely understand that the band it comes with isn't a great design, and that if you're constantly putting the Shine in and out of it, it's going to stretch or break, and you'll lose your Shine.

It’s not bulky, so it doesn’t easily bump things; the sleek design prevents it from being caught on things as well
