Misfit Wearables Flash - Fitness and Sleep Monitor (Black)

    • My band didn't break but did bend and is usable, but for how much of a beating it took and seeing reviews about the band
    • This is a great fitness band while the battery lasts which I've found is around 4 months
    • :Band is a bit cheap and the Flash is difficult to seat properlyNo vibrating alert like a fitbit might haveYou'll probably lose this in less than a yearI've been curious about activity trackers for a few years, but unable to find the right one with the features I wanted and what I would call a fair price
    • The band and actual device are cheaper in feel and look then the Shine 2, but it had more flexibility in functionality
    • I have since gotten a better fitness band that stays on my wrist without slipping or unhooking.

    • The Misfit Flash was a good first fitness band to have
    • Band broke after only two weeks, with normal use
    • Needs a better band!!!
    • Band broke within one month of purchase.
    • Twice the band broke
    • The band is clearly a design issue, it doesn't hold the flash in snuggly, so you end up want to try and force it beyond the limits of the design into the band and that is when the band breaks and snaps apart.
    • Two weeks after that the band broke completey and the disc fell out
    • Would have been better if the whole band broke and fell off his arm at least he would know where to look.

    • The band is actually very durable
    • I bought two of these and love the functionality but the band is a real problem

    • The band is rather expensive to replace.
    • The band cracked and I had to replace it and spent money to go to best buys because Amazon would not respond to my request for a replacement band
    • I completely agree the band is substandard, the company needs to redesign it and send replacement bands for those who have the flash
    • Just crummy plastic band.
    • (and I understand this is a very reasonably priced band)
    • The band broke after a week and the tracker stopped working after two weeks.

    • It does everything other expensive fitness bands do but at a fraction of the cost
    • Then the band cracked after only a month
    • I really liked the Flash; the band
    • The monitor it self worked great and the readings seemed accurate but for the price of the misfit itself and plus a good replacement wrist band (since using the provided one will give you a sure bet of falling off) together the price would be as much as a better brand along with the good band
    • This band is sturdy
    • Then later the band just fell off and it appears other users are having these issues also
    • The band broke 2 days
    • My only complaint is that it doesn't snap into the wrist band, it just rests against it, so you have to wear the band pretty tight or the tracker will fall out which can be uncomfortable.

    • I agree with the other reviews that say it's a nice fitness monitor with nice iOS app that is crippled by a cheap plastic band.
    • It has a cheap band, similar to what you would find on a child's watch toy from McDonald's
    • The biggest issue is the band: the Misfit will regularly pop out of it unless the band is as tight as possible, and it's quite likely that the band will break at the worst possible time, possibly losing your Misfit forever
    • Band broke in under a month.
    • band eventually cracked on one side
    • I don't like the band because you can't even put the monitor in it.
    • The original band is holding up well, don't see any signs of wear or rips so far
    • Monitor would not stay in the watch band and when attempting to secure the band it snapped in two pieces.
    • Works great no charging needed as it has a battery, wish it tracked my heart rate, comfortable, comes with either the band or a clip do you can wear it either way I chose the band light weight and comfortable to sleep when

    • band broke almost immediately
    • the band that came with the misfit flash has cracked and will no longer hold the tracker
    • Bought this and a better band (french bull black and white band)
    • At first I was having battery issues but realised the fitness app was reading incorrectly, this is tricky to get use to it has a clock which I still have no idea how to read, the band is not as bad as people say, if you are using full force it will break but if you put the wrist band on carefully it is fine
    • Band also cracked on numerous occasion and one time lost a flash
    • Worked well, the band just felt kind of cheap and eventually ripped.

    • I am giving it two stars because I actually like the flash itself, but the band is garbage.
    • The bottom line is: it works fine when it works but the band broke often and the flash dies easily
    • There's truly no good alternative bands either.
    • Extra Band Is Also Useless.

    • The band itself is awful, I haven't even had it for three weeks and the band snapped.

    • I wear the clip with this over the plastic bracelet, which is about the same quality as a Disney Magic Band
    • Six months in, my band still works perfectly
    • The Flash is definitely NOT meant to be worn in the water, the battery corroded every time I got it went in the shower, and the band is very fragile and broke easily
    • but I would suspect that many who broke their bands did not read the instructions and in fact tried to "force" the module in to the band, thus breaking the band
    • This would be a great product if there was a better wrist band and an option to have it auto-sync with the app.

    • Works as it should.
    • But if you regularly go over a day without access to the Internet (the app won't sync without it), or if you tend to be rough on your accessories, or if your chosen exercise isn't one that lends itself to large amounts of movement somewhere you can attach it, maybe it's not for you.***ETAThe water sealing is nowhere as good as they say it is
    • It worked as it was suppose to for a month
    • The only trouble I had with it is that the bluetooth didn't sync with my android as well as it did with the iPhone
    • - I wore it in the Gulf of Mexico - calm water days - and well - the band broke (as it seems to be a major problem) and the misfit and band are now somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico
