It has stopped working after 2 months of gentle use; no salt water, no hard knocks, battery replaced, but not working any longer.

Today, after I popped the cover off to replace the battery, I discovered the battery was corroded and there was evidence of moisture inside the casing.

We do have another one in our house that is a few months older, it also needed a new battery but now it works fine.

I wear it all the time except in wet conditions (shower, bath, swimming, etc.) and now the battery is just hanging in there.

I thought it was a bad battery but a new battery didn't solve the issue, so the unit was replaced at that time

The plusses were price, waterproof device, watch like feature for time, and a battery that lasts six months so no nightly charging

I have not had to replace the battery, so therefore have never taken the back off, but the rubber gasket seems to have stretched and that is now preventing a good battery connection.

Bought my first one in Oct 2015, but needed to have it replaced in Jan 2016 because it wouldn't sync and later kept draining the battery

The battery life is pretty much the reason I selected this device, since my issues with the jawbone up was the battery died and only lasted a day at the very most

After that a battery would not work for more than 2 weeks

, the synching didn't drain my phone battery, the app worked well, and as an unexpected pleasure I even found that I really enjoyed the sleep tracking functionality.

I would love if in the future Misfit could develop a Flash or Shine model that also has the ability to monitor heart rate and other health data points while mainting the same design and fantastic battery life of the current models.

I popped off the back, aimed a blow dryer at it for a few seconds, replaced the battery and it worked perfectly.

I have had to change the battery once every three months, but that is with continual use - note to self - DO NOT use cheap batteries, they only last a week!

It worked as it was suppose to for a month

The only trouble I had with it is that the bluetooth didn't sync with my android as well as it did with the iPhone
