Misfit Wearables Flash - Fitness and Sleep Monitor (Black)

    • I agree with the other reviews that say it's a nice fitness monitor with nice iOS app that is crippled by a cheap plastic band.
    • The band was a fairly cheap plastic band and didn't look to be too
    • Bottom line, this is a cheap plastic tracker, that's why it's so inexpensive
    • It has a cheap plastic clip, which lies loosely even on medium-thick materials (a padded bra, for example).
    • It doesn't work when you want it to and it made of really cheap plastic
    • I am giving the MISFIT plastic band a 1 star because there is no "no star" rating
    • Flash has cheap plastic and looks a bit massive comparing to Shine
    • The plastic of the crown is just too rigid it cracks
    • One of the issues I read was that the holder broke easily, it is made of brittle plastic and mine hasn't broke yet, but I know it's just a matter of time before it does
    • the Flash is made out of the worst possible hard plastic that just looks like it's from the dollar store.
    • By September 20th, not even a month later, the cheap plastic round part of the wristband that the Flash snaps into, cracked almost all the way through in two places -- I can no longer use the wristband because now the Flash would fall right out.
    • The wrist strap is cheap plastic and broke after a couple of weeks
    • It is made with cheap plastic parts and sometimes the misfit won't sync for no reason and other times no problem auto-syncing.
    • As I looked the device over I notice several small cracks around the bottom part of the hard plastic that makes the shell
    • I've had mine less than a month, and the point where the hard plastic holder-thing meets the soft plastic band is already starting to give
    • Secondly, the cover for the battery is cheap plastic, and does not seem to be waterproof
    • I've had mine less than a month, and the point where the hard plastic holder-thing meets the soft plastic band is already starting to give
    • From all of the reviews I expected to get a hard plastic
    • This device cost me over $50 for what is a cheap plastic disc that fits into a cheap plastic strap or clip.
    • The good:There are complaints about material quality, well it is plastic, I'm not ashamed to be with a nice plastic band, if you are you should buy the misfit shine
    • After about a week of wearing it, the band (made out of cheap plastic) broke
    • While it does "look" good, it is made out of a cheap plastic which can be expected considering the price tag.
    • This would be a 5 star item if Misfit could use a different plastic for the wrist band and shoe/belt clip
    • The problem is the cheap hard plastic band
    • Apparently not, the battery cover is constantly falling off and the wrist band can not hold the device in its rigid cheap quality plastic
    • This small device is comfortable to wear even though it looks like a cheap plastic toy
    • Don't use the bands that this product comes with because it's hard plastic and will break
    • Would give it 5 stars, but the clip and wristband are very brittle plastic.
    • It was the brittle hard plastic ring that holds the Misfit Flash which broke after only a few days of light use.
    • so why would I need to replace the battery? Also the thing itself is mad of really cheap plastic
    • All of the breaks have been to the round part that holds the Flash; they simply crack because the plastic is cheap and brittle
    • The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating as that the watch face and clip is made out of a hard plastic and breaks very easily
    • The band is a rather uncomfortable plastic (compared to the rubber of the Shine) and it is not secure at all
    • a wasted plastic bracelet.
    • it works great, just too bad I have to replace the broken band for another cheap plastic band for $11, 2 days after buying the 1st one.
    • It's like some third rate hard plastic
    • Within 3 days of wearing it, the cheap plastic watch strap split and broke.
    • The plastic just can't take the stress
    • plastic feels cheap
    • You better buy extra wrist straps because that part is made from the cheapest plastic on earth
    • Works as it should.
    • But if you regularly go over a day without access to the Internet (the app won't sync without it), or if you tend to be rough on your accessories, or if your chosen exercise isn't one that lends itself to large amounts of movement somewhere you can attach it, maybe it's not for you.***ETAThe water sealing is nowhere as good as they say it is
    • It worked as it was suppose to for a month
    • The only trouble I had with it is that the bluetooth didn't sync with my android as well as it did with the iPhone
    • - I wore it in the Gulf of Mexico - calm water days - and well - the band broke (as it seems to be a major problem) and the misfit and band are now somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico
    • On the plus side, I've gotten compliments on the Flash ' s
    • The App is s***ty and does not work the same or properly on our devices.
    • When it worked and didn't break I really liked it
