Misfit Wearables Flash - Fitness and Sleep Monitor (Red)

    • bummed-- loved the price and love the app, but now it has stopped working for good and I am out $20.
    • I like the app.
    • The Misfit app is nice, easy to understand and navigate but with the product not being up to par, it's obviously useless now.
    • The app is very easy to use and track your progress
    • The app itself is really easy to use and shows your progress in two different ways so you can see not just your goal but also the times you have been most active for the day.
    • The app and device design are pretty good
    • I'm completely hooked, I never take it off and the app is easy to use
    • When the Flash syncs with the Misfit app, it seems to work well enough
    • The app is okay, although last year it was shut down for a week due to problems and I lost all that data
    • Love the app very easy to use and setup.
    • This is a wonderful fitness tracker, with all the essential features, and a user-friendly app
    • The app doesn't half work, and the watch itself just isn't good quality at all
    • Now the bad.... the apps that are available to link are very limited
    • It syncs with phone using the misfit app.
    • They work great to track activity and sleep, and the app is so easy to use
    • Free app for my phone.
    • And the app is user friendly and syncs with MyFitnessPal.
    • I removed the old one from the misfit app, and added the new one it worked, so i decided to test it and go to workout after 40 minutes of cardio i decided to sync the tracker with the app, to my surprise it did not work
    • An improved app plus better bundled band would make me recommend this tracker
    • For $15.99, the APP itself is worth the money.
    • I prefer the misfit app to Fitbit but the Fitbit product is so much better it doesn't matter!I wanted to keep this product but it really really don't work out
    • that would not be a problem if the tracker would connect to other apps but it can only connect to the misfit app
    • The app works well with My Fitness Pal so you can coordinate caloric intake with your activity.
    • Love the sleep app
    • Also, the app was super buggy.
    • This is a neat little thing, but it looks like the Android app is a joke
    • You can sync this device with a free mobile app on your mobile device
    • The app kind of sucked too.
    • I am supremely disappointed - the app was easy to use and I enjoyed tracking my sleep patterns
    • , the synching didn't drain my phone battery, the app worked well, and as an unexpected pleasure I even found that I really enjoyed the sleep tracking functionality.
    • , the synching didn't drain my phone battery, the app worked well, and as an unexpected pleasure I even found that I really enjoyed the sleep tracking functionality.
    • VERY impressive app!
    • I decided to give it another chance, as it has some good features (no need to recharge the battery, lightweight, decent design, good app), and bought another one
    • Unfortunately, the app doesn't work.
    • However when I wake up in the morning I can easily correct the amount of sleep I got in the misfit app
    • The Flash paired with my phone and the Misfit app easily but no data ever appeared in the app, so it's been broken from the start
    • Bottom line: it's not supremely accurate and doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles, but it's a solid product with pretty good app that keeps you motivated - for TWENTY DOLLARS.
    • The app was crummy for me as a windows phone user, but great for him as an android user
    • The app is pretty, but could be improved
    • I finally had to unpair it with the link app in order for it to sync with the Misfit app
    • Love the misfit, their App leaves a lot to be desired
    • Love the app and the design.
    • was the misfit app
    • App was not reliable.
    • Even the Misfit app itself has a nice enough graph of exertion, weekly and monthly views, and links to help menus for understanding the capabilities (and limits) of the Flash
    • They need to make a good app like "Find My IPhone app" for the Misfit wearables.
    • For example, it will send the activity information from my Misfit over to MyFitnessPal, but it won't send the updated food and weight / measurements from MyFitnessPal over to the Misfit app.
    • Instead the app asks you how many point you'd like your goal to be
    • ; the app was fine and it was fun while it lasted but overall just need a better device.
    • I first had a android device, however the app seemed limited in functionality, I now have an I phone and there are so many extra features that I didn't realize existed until the switch over
    • So I'm returning it and plan to get a Fitbit which has an available app.
    • The app is very user-friendly (I use it on an iPhone 5S with iOS 8.3)
    • No problems downloading the App or getting it to work from the start of my using the app.
    • After working out, it did not sync, because it was not able to connect to my phone, i restarted: the app, the phone and the tracker (losing my workout data) at least 3 times with the same results
    • my fitness' app, though, so this doesn't work for me at all
    • Plus I like the sleep tracking - while I suspect that every other sleep tracker out there is better, this one still does the job and the app is nice
    • an got myself ready for bed, got my misfit app open
    • This thing would be great if the app were better
    • Their customer service attitude, the styles of their devices, and their app have won me.
    • The app is free, user friendly, and bug-free from my experience
    • It was cool to sync to the Misfit app to monitor my progress
    • Furthermore, after doing this, my Flash wouldn't even sync with the regular Misfit app, leaving me with a useless device
    • Also, the app is very clean and pleasing to use
    • Turns out this tracker is great and the app is perfect for him.
    • The Flash is a great activity tracker and the app works as promised.
    • It's a great fitness app
    • The app is good
    • The app is pretty easy to use and better than some
    • I agree with the other reviews that say it's a nice fitness monitor with nice iOS app that is crippled by a cheap plastic band.
    • Product needs work, seems as if it's not as accurate as the health app on my phone.
    • The Misfit app is constantly being updated and works great.
    • Yes, as so many have said, the app lacks
    • It worked fine on iPhone but the Android app is problematic, especially when it comes to managing multiple devices
    • app is just okay (and doesn't work for measuring sleep every time) , and the device is a bit cheaply made (easily broken).
    • The MISFIT dial and app work great and we have loved them
    • Take it out of the box, pop it into the strap or your pocket, download the app and it just works
    • The diet losgs of the working apps sync back to the misfit app, as well, giving a more rounded picture of health within the misfit app
    • The app is also nicer than the Fitbit (more simple overall); the graphs and charts it provides give you a much better idea of your activity than just the number readouts, and I like that you can view the last day, week, or month
    • The app is easy to use and syncs nicely with MyFitnessPal app.
    • The app was crummy for me as a windows phone user, but great for him as an android user
    • Easy to sync with the misfit app and also connects to other apps like virgin health miles and my fitness.
    • The bad:The app
    • While the Misfit Flash and the app itself is good, the plastic band is terrible
    • The app is easy enough to use, and you can compare your scores with others.
    • I wanted a simple tracker for my steps and this did the job and the app was nice and user friendly, but teo months after wearing it every day it completely died
    • The technology is good, the app is not bad, but the fact that the device itself has completely failed so quickly is just terrible
    • So I got rid of the link app, but had to download it again to change it back to the original setting before I could start using the misfit app again
    • It's more stylish, better quality, works great, and they just updated the app (for both Flash and Shine) to be on par with the iOS version
    • the app is easy to use.
    • The "app" is horrible, won't sync and asks for permission to turn bluetooth on, when its already active!!!
    • The app that provides all the charts and allows for personalization was easy to install and intuitive to use, and the Flash was immediately detected through Bluetooth and synced without problems
    • The app is easy to use
    • Great app for iOS
    • But, I love the app, so am ordering another.
    • Pros: great app interface, very easy to use for tracking exercise and sleep
    • For the money, the app design and ease of integration is awesome
    • This is a neat little thing, but it looks like the Android app is a joke
    • I think the concept is great, the app is clean, but the quality of the product is so poor that I would not recommend this until they improve the quality to where it AT LEAST works.
    • I have my app connected to Lose It
    • and I love the apps that go with it!
    • The App is s***ty and does not work the same or properly on our devices.
    • I prefer the misfit app to Fitbit but the Fitbit product is so much better it doesn't matter!I wanted to keep this product but it really really don't work out
    • The device and the app together are bad--just read the comments at the Google play store for the Misfit app.
    • the apps not good for windows phone
    • I downloaded free apps and purchased apps to go with it on my phone, but none of them seem to be registering the exercise
    • The app downloaded and works great on my iPhone
    • The features are great as well as the app which you can pair with other apps to help you in your process
    • Good quality and the app is nice with all the detail
    • The app was a pretty good interface, but that's not very useful if your product doesn't cooperate.
    • I like the misfit app the best
    • this product is fantastic and easy to use and the app that tracks your activity is easy to use as well.
    • The app was easy to use and sync, though not very interpretive and the misfit synced easily
    • all the data is found on your smart phone app
    • How the app is sleek
    • I love the tech, and love the app, but neither does any good when it is lost
    • The Misfit app is OK.
    • I connected the Flash to MapMyFitness (must do it through the Misfit app).
    • Also you need to download the misfit app to your apple/android device which isn't too hard to do or too big of a deal for me.
    • I liked the app.
    • The app is free, user friendly, and bug-free from my experience
    • The Misfit app is nice, easy to understand and navigate but with the product not being up to par, it's obviously useless now.

    • I love the price and the app.
    • I love how comfortable it is, the app is easy to use and I love the color it is so pretty
    • The Misfit app is pretty user friendly
    • The app works well (I have an iPhone 4s)
    • Syncing is done automatically when the MisFit app is running.
    • App - The app for iOS is extremely intuitive and guides you through the linking and syncing process as well as gives you a tour around the app and shows you what everything does.+ Customer Service
    • The app is nice but after using it for a few
    • and the app wasn't great to use either
    • Would connect to the phone as a media remote but never the misfit app
    • You view all details on a cool app, I use my iPhone to view the app
    • The app for the device is really attractive and easy to use, too bad it doesn't track all my activity
    • iOS app is not stellar, but since it synchronizes with LoseIt, Apple Health, etc., the limitations can easily be overcome
    • : Their app doesn't work
    • The device quit linking to the Misfit app
    • If you have a 20 something (or younger) relative willing to help you learn the app take advantage of their videogame - tablet - touchscreen - iconese experience and savy.
    • The app has sent numerous emails to misfit but they've yet to respond:(Very disappointed:(Update: misfit finally deemed my device defective and sent a replacement but now the replacement device has failed in the same amount of time:(

    • Overall it works well, and the app works well with it too
    • The app is user friendly, and it does a decent job of tracking fitness
    • My free Simple Pedometer app (which is pretty far from accurate) is more reliable at tracking my steps, at least it regularly tracks about 2/3 of them.
    • The app is also very easy to use
    • I like the misfit app, its really easy to use and to customize
    • The functionality of the device is great-love the app and ability to connect to my fitness pal
    • This 'Link' app is unstable and frankly I haven't gotten it to work after hours of toying with it.
    • Close the Misfit app and reopen it
    • The app is easy to use
    • The app is nice.
    • The app is easy to use, it's quite easy to sync, and I wore it on the clip, so it was easy enough to hide
    • The Misfit app is very well polished and nice to look at, but the same cannot be said for Garmin
    • Terrible android app
    • I wish it had a vibration alarm, but otherwise the app was pretty handy, and I liked the sleep tracking
    • I wish it had a vibration alarm, but otherwise the app was pretty handy, and I liked the sleep tracking
    • The app can be a little buggy, but in general does exactly what it says it will.
    • The device worked OK in the beginning, but recently has only synced intermittently with the Misfit app
    • The only thing that does work is when I clicked view activity it had me downloaded the misfit app which also paired successfully
    • Loved the color loved the interactive smart phone app
    • it doesn't sync NOTHING, ineven tried to go ahead and sign up but the app is frozen.
    • Lose It app
    • The app is also smooth and easy to use, same with the misfit link feature where you can use the flash (or misfit link) with the misfit link app to use your misfit product as a button for music, presentations, IFTT, selfie button or a switch for your misfit bolt
    • I walked 2 miles and the Misfit app only counting 0.6 miles
    • The app with it works great
    • I bought one for my wife a few days after getting mine (because it seemed to work OK at first), but her's has not synced for weeks and now it won't even pair with the Misfit app via Bluetooth
    • If you are on Android, be prepared to use a mediocre app
    • That said, the app began to mess with the time being displayed on my flash
    • I can also sync Flash to the Misfit app on my phone to get even more data on my progress
    • The app is easy to use and links to the virgin health miles program my work uses
    • After a month they updated the app for my android phone and suddenly a full battery died over night, then it wouldn't work at all (it would sync but do nothing else) for a few
    • The app is pretty fancy and tracks all the data and more than I need.
    • I loved the app, the automatic tracking, and the color
    • The app and the website have really limited access to data collected
    • I like the misfit app, its really easy to use and to customize

    • I just deleted the misfit app and my phone was fine.

    • The app is pretty nifty.
    • The APP though was nice.
    • The app for the device is really attractive and easy to use, too bad it doesn't track all my activity
    • The app works great, and it seems like it's actually able to track my sleep and steps really well
    • It took me a few tries to sync it on my new polaroid tablet and i put both the link and the misfit app on
    • I don't personally use a food tracker (I usually make my own food, which makes it really hard to track my eating with most apps), but I thought I'd note the Misfit app doesn't give the option
    • The app is much improved after a recent update, and I've had no problems syncing it with my iPhone
    • The app is a bit annoying and the calories thing doesnt make much sense, but it does the job
    • I have a Samsung Galaxy s5 and the app was easy to set up and use.
    • The Misfit app is pretty user friendly
    • I loved the app and still use it for the slew
    • The app is hit or miss.
    • But if you regularly go over a day without access to the Internet (the app won't sync without it), or if you tend to be rough on your accessories, or if your chosen exercise isn't one that lends itself to large amounts of movement somewhere you can attach it, maybe it's not for you.***ETAThe water sealing is nowhere as good as they say it is
    • Works as it should.
    • It worked as it was suppose to for a month
    • The only trouble I had with it is that the bluetooth didn't sync with my android as well as it did with the iPhone
    • - I wore it in the Gulf of Mexico - calm water days - and well - the band broke (as it seems to be a major problem) and the misfit and band are now somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico
