Misfit Wearables Flash - Fitness and Sleep Monitor (Red)

    • So far I am absolutely loving this device
    • Device is pretty decent.
    • I am not sure if this is a fluke or if these devices are really this flimsy
    • I prefer a self-contained device.
    • It's a very attractive device
    • It cracked and I lost my round device.
    • The device itself doesn't scream heavy duty--but it doesn't seem particularly fragile either
    • My office started a fitness program and was not sure I wanted to "play" by buying some expensive device.
    • For one of the cheapest devices on the market it does everything I need, but I'd be willing to pay a little extra for better quality, but shouldn't have to.
    • With the Flash, we've occasionally found water got inside but the device was fine if we let it dry out.
    • I think this is one of the best devices I like the
    • I have not bought another device, partially because this one mostly works, but one day I will
    • I liked the device, but the band is not meant for active people.
    • I was completely transparent in my communication with them, lest they think I was just angling for another free device to be sent to the same address
    • There have been a few close calls with snagging my band on something and worrying it might break, but so far the device is awesome!
    • Since then I have had to change the battery, uninstall and reinstall the app repeatedly and now the device is totally dead
    • I really like this fitness tracker and the app, great price and device
    • The device worked for two days, then would no longer sync
    • Unfortunately the band is chintzy and the actual device stopped working today
    • The strap is terrible quality and you will lose this device no matter how careful you are
    • Well, you may get the same device; I already requested a return label.
    • Edit 5/30/16: I'm dropping it down to one star after the rubber cover came off and a week later the device quit working altogether
    • All in all, I'm still giving it 3 stars because it was a good device for the money until it stopped working
    • This is a great little device
    • In my experience, the device functions well - for about 6 to 8 weeks and them falls completely.
    • It's a reasonable device that gets attention because people want to know how you tell the time as the face has no numbers
    • The fact that they are so bad means you will likely lose your device within weeks and that is simply not acceptable
    • This device worked very well for me for about 4 months.
    • Overall it is a cute device that is able to automatically track sleep (if you sleep during normal night hours...it won't track sleep during the day) and their customer support team has been very responsive, however the device does not seem to be as waterproof as it claims to be, isn't sturdy, and doesn't seem to be all that consistent in tracking data.
    • Very useful, simple device that does the job
    • The sleep tracking function is great plus can link up with friends and family that has a misfit device and compete or do group workouts at separate locations
    • I wanted to love this device, but it stopped working after only a month
    • This is a cheap device (pricewise) that may not last too long, so adjust your expectations accordingly
    • I love the device though.
    • terrible device, DO NOT waste your time and money
    • Bought it for my wife after she had several friends show off their Misfit Shine devices and we actually chose the Flash not for the lower price but because the device went into the band from behind, which we thought would be more secure
    • In other words, you're going to invest in this great little device, but not know that it is useless to you until it
    • I can say that this device gave me more issue when setting it up than my flash did, but after several attempts it was paired with my phone and ready to go
    • In order to have this cost effective device work with your existing tech, you need to invest $400+ in upgrading your phone
    • So we highly do NOT recommend you to use your Flash with any water related activities."I'd buy another Misfit device, but I wouldn't purchase this again hindsight 20/20.
    • This device has become utterly useless, as it will no longer is displaying my activity in the app.
    • The bands I ordered for it were much worse they don't fit the device well and seems
    • Overall, its not a bad device given the price point/value
    • After one swim on the first day she owned it, the device stopped working.
    • I really like these devices because they do exactly what they say they will do at a very low price point
    • Once I lose the device for
    • When the device works its
    • The first time, I decide that because I liked the device itself, it would be worth the money to buy another one, hoping the strap on mine was just defective
    • It's a good starter device if you are not sure how you feel about trackers.
    • Once my device stopped working (accidental water damage due to my fault, I believe) and they sent and new one no questions asked
    • The second I dove in to the water the device stopped working
    • So of 4 devices, we lost 3 in 4 months.
    • This is a tough little device.
    • , I like the Flash, but the design / build quality of the bands means you're likely to lose the devices (along with the $ you paid for them).
    • It WILL break and when it does, you will likely lose the device because it will fall out if the part of the band that supports the device is what breaks
    • Sorry Misfit but three different devices over the course of 15
    • If only the device worked...4
    • ; the app was fine and it was fun while it lasted but overall just need a better device.
    • This small device is comfortable to wear even though it looks like a cheap plastic toy
    • Overall, good device but the wristband is terrible quality
    • I think it is good entry device, cheap and provide good basic functions, but it need more work on their functionality and accuracy
    • everI hope that Misfit does right and replaces all the defective devices.
    • otherwise I am finding it pretty accurate on distance but the calories are wildly inaccurate and it would be a better device if they removed this feature.
    • Got my device a day early and my brother is enjoying it right now.
    • Terrible device.
    • honesly its my first time writing review (obviously im mad)so the device somehow suddenly stopped working after 1 month
    • Then the misfit device does not hold any more data
    • The device is fine, does what it is supposed to do
    • I like the device, but the holding device (watch band) broke in the first week.
    • it's decent as an introductory device that is less than $20
    • The battery died and the device stopped working in 6
    • I like the fact that the device uses a replaceable
    • Just like that, after less than a week, the device was dead.
    • The device is lost
    • It is still a perfectly good device - only I don't know where it may be after a day of yard work, and there is no way I can find it where it was lost
    • Very disappointed with this because the device is awesome!!
    • Just like that, after less than a week, the device was dead.
    • I follow all troubleshooting tips that don't work, then suddenly the device wakes up & starts working, go figure!
    • Furthermore, after doing this, my Flash wouldn't even sync with the regular Misfit app, leaving me with a useless device
    • For some strange reason the device didn't track or lost an entire week of data even though I had synced to the app several times.
    • The device looks attractive, I first had concerns that not enough information shows on the face of the device, however after getting use to the device and the fact that it actually can be used as a watch as well is very impressive
    • This device also has a small disadvantage
    • The device itself is certainly decent for the price
    • Just a terrific device.
    • Great device simple and useful
    • Must have a smart device with Bluetooth.
    • I think it is pretty awesome that Misfit designed a device that can track your sleep, and it does it quite accurately.+ Remote Usage - Using the Misfit Link app you can control many functionalities on your phone, such as taking pictures, pausing and playing music, and navigating a powerpoint presentation.+ Clasp
    • I like the device, but the holding device (watch band) broke in the first week.
    • I loved this device so much that when my first one ended up getting water damage I got myself another one thinking I could be more careful and just avoid swimming with
    • I'm able to send text messages, turn smart devices on or off, play music on my phone, etc using the device
    • The band it awful, doesn't fold the device, and the clip is already broken after less than 2 weeks
    • I think it is good entry device, cheap and provide good basic functions, but it need more work on their functionality and accuracy
    • The second device worked well for the two months that I had it, but I stopped
    • The second device worked well for the two months that I had it, but I stopped
    • the device stopped work after a week, I don't know why, Im waiting a response from the support
    • The second time killed this device even though it should be water resistant
    • Very poorly designed device
    • My father's wrist band kept breaking until one day he eventually lost the whole device while on vacation
    • Great device
    • My first frustration was when buying a used one from Amazon, the device was unable to be reset after the previous user
    • It WILL break and when it does, you will likely lose the device because it will fall out if the part of the band that supports the device is what breaks
    • This didn't ruin my device, but it did effect the battery
    • The device itself quit working the first time he dropped it two weeks later.
    • Less than a week of having it, the main device fell out of the clip as I was out and about
    • If you want a cheap fitness device, this might be for you.
    • I got this little healthy device form Walmart in the black Friday
    • So when I lost the second one in a similar manner, I was definitely disappointed in the low quality band of this great device.
    • Inexpensive and a good first time device for adolescents
    • Much like the Jawbone Up Move, this device has no screen - only LED lights
    • I purchased 2 the first wrist band broke and I lost the tracking device
    • Adequate low end step tracking device that allows you to keep always relying on your smart phone for step tracking.
    • If you can get it on sale for $25 like I did, yeah go for it, it's a nice little device that will let you figure out if you actually want to get into the whole fitness tracking craze, but don't pay $50 for this, it just isn't worth
    • The device features; waterproof, battery powered, automatic activity tracking and small form factor all make it seem like a great low cost device
    • Unfortunately, I only received this after I lost the device, so this is not helpful.
    • Great device... if only it worked.
    • so I hope it works because I really like the device itself
    • Bought it for my wife after she had several friends show off their Misfit Shine devices and we actually chose the Flash not for the lower price but because the device went into the band from behind, which we thought would be more secure
    • Only problem is no matter what band you choose, the device falls out and is lost forever
    • terrible device, DO NOT waste your time and money
    • Very nice tracking device
    • This device is pretty accurate.
    • Great device when it works.
    • Device is great for monitoring distance, calories, steps and sleep.
    • Wrist band broke and I lost device
    • In comparing this $20 device to my $150 device, I was absolutely astounded at the value of the Misfit Flash in comparison to the much more expensive Fitbit Charge HR.
    • This product is terrible in the first day the band snapped and the device stopped working
    • Then later that day the actual device stopped working
    • Also, please note, manufacturer policy is that they only support devices sold through their authorized dealers
    • The device works much better with Apple devices compares to Android
    • The device and the app together are bad--just read the comments at the Google play store for the Misfit app.
    • Your device's serial number
    • I have not had any problem with the bluetooth in the compatible device recognizing any other item
    • The device itself is great, does what it needs to do, nuff said
    • The Vivofit 2 feels like a tank in comparison, but can only be worn on the wrist or placed in your pocket (a bummer for healthcare workers who are concerned about the device trapping microbes)
    • Awesome simple fitness device.
    • The device (Flash) all of sudden stopped working about 3 months in
    • However, the device worked for less than a week and then just stopped turning on
    • As of yesterday the device has helped me loose 26 lbs.
    • The technology worked well...until I lost it because the band snapped around the circle and I lost the device without knowing it.
    • I love this device
    • I bought misfit devices for myself and gifted two for my family members
    • The device itself was great and I really liked it.
    • I wanted to like this device
    • I really want to love this device
    • What was advertised - great device for fitness tracking
    • I wanted to like this device.
    • One day when water walking I accidentally dropped the device and it fell to the bottom of the pool
    • I loved my Flash - the device it self worked great for my purposes.
    • I love the device.
    • I have bought two of these Misfit Flash devices and I had a third that was a replacement under warranty
    • I really liked my first device but it
    • The band is horrible and the device doesn't even snap in properly, so it can fall out of the band every time you take it off.
    • Overall this is a cool device
    • If you are looking for a highly accurate device, this isn't it.
    • The device itself is good and works well with the IPhone 6
    • The app has sent numerous emails to misfit but they've yet to respond:(Very disappointed:(Update: misfit finally deemed my device defective and sent a replacement but now the replacement device has failed in the same amount of time:(
    • The circular device itself can be hard to get into the the plastic that holds it
    • The device itself is great for those entering fitness tracking
    • It's been two months; the device stopped working 2 weeks ago
    • The device is best for no fuss steps and calorie counting and monitoring your activity
    • Great device while it lasts
    • After several days they finally conceded that the device was faulty and replaced it with a frost color one
    • I again wrote to customer support and after some sleuthing found out I had a "defective device" and they decided to ship me a third MisFit
    • Great device!
    • but it was on my waist under my shirt and the rain must of got to it and killed the device
    • The device was fine until it stopped syncing
    • Device was fine but band cracked around the face within two weeks of wearing
    • Poor quality, device and accessories continue to fail even after replacements.
    • I've really enjoyed this device
    • I wish that Misfit would find a way to make a much better enclosure, wrist strap, and clip without having to charge $50-100 like they do for their two upscale devices
    • Bands break, batteries fail, and the devices simply stop working.
    • I look forward to adding the sleep tracker to my Misfit device in the future
    • Love the device, but the band is designed to fail.
    • Note and send us the serial number.- Send us a close-up picture of your Misfit device like this [...]
    • because the device had a manufacturing defect, it had a small crack through which water entered
    • So far, I really like this device
    • I love this device is excellent
    • The device worked OK in the beginning, but recently has only synced intermittently with the Misfit app
    • but the devices and tech is great and looks sleek
    • I am not expecting it to solve quantum physics, just be an accurate device
    • This device performs extremely well for the price point it is at
    • For the past month, my device has also been lighting up randomly for no reason as well, sometimes waking me up at night
    • I am certainly not going to buy one of their more expensive devices if they don't provide support.
    • The device is fun to use, and motivational
    • Maybe iPhone users won't have these problems, but really the device is worthless if you can't see the data.
    • I am to sedantary for such a device to really be useful
    • the device itself is easy to use and ready to use out of the box once you download the app
    • I bought his Misfit Flash hoping to have a good experience with an inexpensive device
    • I loved the product itself but the only two options seemed to be to sit the device loosely and possibly lose it, or fit it tightly and break the band.
    • It's not as accurate as the FitBit devices
    • Device was fine but band cracked around the face within two weeks of wearing
    • This device works well
    • A fine entry level device
    • It never would sync with my compatible device
    • The device works very well and is easy to read.
    • Sorry Misfit but three different devices over the course of 15
    • Love the product but I killed the device sadly
    • The very next day, the device died
    • The 2 one the wrist band broke and about 3 days later the device stopped working
    • As I looked the device over I notice several small cracks around the bottom part of the hard plastic that makes the shell
    • This is a great device, and otherwise
    • I had this device for about a week and was loving it - I like the app, the lack of having to charge it, and I like the look of it
    • When it worked and didn't break I really liked it
