The keyboard tray is the right height, but the top of the table is too high by several inches.

The keyboard is at the right height for me and there is room enough for a mouse next to the keyboard without extending the side board

The top is slightly above standard table height but this is to put the fixed height keyboard shelf at a better height.

It is a bit high and my husband prefers that, but if you don't then definitely get a chair with adjustable height to compensate.
