I bought a second one for our other TV and of course the battery was dead as well
-
Second unit had a dead battery, it powers on the unit a little, just enough to make you get frustrated, a new battery solved the problems though.
-
Swapped all new batteries and still no dice.

It shares the batteries with the fire tv remote and that part works fine, so it’s just the addon is junk.

When I noticed (immediately) the remote not working well, I replaced the battery and it works perfectly

Uses an obscure round battery so when that dies it'll be a bit of a pain to replace.

Did have issues with signal to tv but found that the battery that came with it was apparently nearly dead
-
I replaced the battery to make sure it was not a battery issue and still completely unresponsive.

I tried a new battery, and no dice.

The batteries died kind of quick and are hard to find quickly.
-
It keeps draining the batteries from the firestick.
-
Works as you’d hope it would

I really wanted this to work as it is a great idea and one of the most economic and simple solutions out there for adding basic t.v controls to your fire stick remote (in theory). However, after about a
