Worked the first grind, then the motor locked up
-
The dial on the underside of the grinder that lets you choose how coarse or fine it grinds can loosen and create more coarsely ground coffee over time
-
Starting with a fine grind and ending with a course grind.
-
The fine adjustment knob works great, full battery will let me grind 7-8 times, really easy to clean, and doesn’t feel cheap!
-
Also the part you would turn to change grind size would become loose while grinding
-
Now for the nitty and gritty:1) the dial to adjust coffee doesn't click to let you know how fine your grind will come out
-
I returned it and bought a Krups Vortex grinder of the same size that lets me grind my 4 scoops of beans in 5 seconds and produces a smooth, even grind.
-
When it does work - the grinding is good, but it is quite a pain to have to push the on button again after it stops.
-
Little slow grinding
-
This issue is worse when you are trying to make a fine grind, and you have to press the button several times to get enough coffee for one cup
-
The Burrs were off-center and the grind wasn't consistent
-
The level adjuster gets loose while grinding and it gets less finer
-
However, I will enjoy using it to have fresh-ground coffee when I go camping.
