So far so good with this device, the only problem that I see is the motion delay when recording

For now I believe that using silicone glue will solve the problem but needless to say I'm little frustrated with the whole process

I've now had this camera for almost a year and the only problem I had was the memory card got corrupt and had to be reformatted.

I don't know about Overheat problem since I mount it outside, on top my helmet, so it can't get hot

The only problem I've come across is that the screw I am using on the mount shakes loose after a number of weeks, so I've used just a dab of super glue on the threads
