I recently moved into the 21st century and got a decent TV, wanting to get rid of my ancient downconverter box (no cable, no problem).
-
Works as well as direct tv.
-
I get excellent TV reception and bring in several HD channels
-
Check Mohu's website or TV fools website for tower location and signal direction and other details
-
I am using Pinnacle TV Center on my computer and was using an old school rabbit ears RCA indoors antenna from Walmart
-
Now get free TV
-
I'm not saying the product is bad, but although free tv looks good on paper, there's not enough good content to invest in anything like this
-
Using a Samsung smart tv.
-
you're new to cord cutting and not particularly 'techie',or want to know more about how to setup and use a flat antenna, check out my book: Simple Guide to Over-the-Air Free TV.
-
Instant free TV
-
I put it up by myself, ran the smart TV's channel finder, and BAM!
-
Now we are watching perfect HD quality broadcast TV on six channels out here for FREE.
-
It's a nice cheap way for free local TV and was easy to set up
-
However, there are still many instances where I would like live TV to be able to watch things like the news, sports, and public television.
-
Some TV antennas come with a built-in signal amplifier, but I recommend buying a "stand alone" TV antenna & separate signal amplifier (like this one).
-
I googled what was the best TV antenna after we cut cable
-
Good bye cable TV.
-
We plan on purchasing another for our upstairs TV as well as we have decided to drop cable and do local digital channels and streaming only
-
I had to move the antenna around depending on which station I was watching, but I could get reasonable tv reception
-
excellent local tv reception
-
These are CBS, FOX (for watching football games), a Spanish speaking HD channel that I don't understand since I don't speak Spanish, 2 Public Television MPT channels (one HD channel and one non-HD channel), and also a "classic TV shows" channel that has old shows like "I dream of Jeanie", "The Brady Bunch", etc
-
I ended up purchasing 6 of them and switched all tv to Sling....good by high cable bills.
-
I want to dump cable TV
-
We got this when we bought out new smart TV
-
No matter where I moved the antenna, I was never able to maintain a consistent signal and TV was unwatchable
-
I later found out that Winegard also makes good TV antennas too, so in hindsight, I would have instead bought this Winegard flatwave antenna (below) instead of the Moho Leaf flatwave antenna (although the Moho Leaf is working fine for us).http://www.amazon.com
