I’ve been using cheaper paperback journals for the last two years and I got this as an “upgrade”, however

My favorite journal was the Piccadilly basic black journal, but when it got discontinued I decided to transfer over to this moleskine

This journal is pricey even here on Amazon, but the quality is undeniable

Enough to guide the writing, but not dark enough o obscure anything

It does not smudge as long as you let the ink dry for a few seconds

I am a graphic designer and I love small sketchbooks as they are easier to carry around with me

It's a very usable and durably made plain notebook with acid free ivory colored paper that is a fair bit heavier than what you'd find in a cheap composition notebook.
