Moleskine Classic Notebook, Pocket, Ruled, White, Hard Cover (3.5 x 5.5)

    • I wasn't sure if it would be worth the price, but the quality of the book, the fact that I have the squared pages makes it amazing.
    • The gird is printed with shading that allows it to be presence but not overwhelm the page
    • Cover is more “scratchy” and pages aren’t as “smooth
    • But if you want something pocket-sized, with a hard cover, which enough pages that you can doodle and sketch field stuff for weeks, then it's pretty much your only choice
    • The pages are not super
    • One major flaw that makes me want to give this product three stars is that if you rip one page off ( which I often have to do) about two pages following will come apart as well because of the design
    • It is kind of transparent, the ink bleeds and it leaves some pages unusable
    • The pages are thin (ink bleeds through), but that is to be expected.
    • Good book but pages are thin and shows through to other side
    • Love the squared/graphed pages over blank or lined - they help keep writing neater and free-drawing diagrams are easier to keep correct/to a consistent scale
    • Love that Moleskines lay flat, the pages are a nice weight (no bleed-through with my Micron pens), the elastic keeps it closed nicely, and the pocket in the back holds loose pieces
    • This features a hard cover and more pages but still fits comfortably in a back or cargo pocket.
    • The only complaint perhaps i that the first page tends to stick to the binding, but I don't miss 1 page for the quality and writing experience of the rest of the package.
    • The pages don't bleed even when I'm coloring in a lot, and the open dotted pages are perfect for bullet journaling
    • The pages are pretty thin, but I love the look and how convenient it is.
    • The pages stay put and don't fall out like some other journals.
    • It's a classic notebook with lay-flat smooth pages for writing ease
    • I will say if you like to write in very thick or dark ink such as sharpie, the pages are thin enough to where it would bleed to the other side
    • If you are someone that also needs to rip pages to either photocopie or whatever then I do not recommend this product
    • Plus, the first page drives me a little crazy because about a quarter inch of it is stuck to the second page making it a pain to write on those first couple of pages since they do not fold down properly
    • The pages are a little thin, but when using my favorite gel pen, it did not bleed through
    • The pages lay down flat and the strap is the perfect tightness and will hold a normal pen on top (I still haven't tried using those flat pens designed specifically for this purpose).
    • If you use watercolor, the pages will warp and get wrinkly
    • I love being able to make the page whatever I would like it to be
    • The pages bleed easily, thinner, and aren't numbered, and don't include an index
    • However - lined pages: good for me since my handwriting is messy.
    • You will also need to tape the back page (where the pocket is) where the page meets the spine or it will rip there as well after prolonged use.
    • My only complaint is that when I tried to rip out just one page, I accidentally ripped out about 10, even though I was being very careful
    • The pages are so nice and overall just a very classy
    • Great for bullet journaling but the pages are transparent if you're using dark ink.
    • Very cheap-feeling pages
    • Page thickness: too transparent since I use dark gel ink.
    • The pages are very thin causing significant bleed-through
    • The feel and texture of the cover, the acid free pages.. it just makes you want to write in it.
    • Also, the ink bleeds through the pages pretty bad
    • While I enjoy it because it’s a handy little notebook to be able to carry around, the pages bleed through with pen rendering half the notebook useless if you
    • I love the feel and the silky pages.
    • While I enjoy it because it’s a handy little notebook to be able to carry around, the pages bleed through with pen rendering half the notebook useless if you
    • This is a great journaling Notebook with butter soft pages and my fountain pens just dance across the page.
    • High quality, perfect pocket size, firm pages, nice pocket in the back
    • Something to keep an eye out for is ink bleeding or being visible through the pages, so if you're worried about any fountain pens or markers you like to use, you can set aside a page just for testing those out
    • I also love the ruled pages for helping everything look neat and organized.
    • The blank pages are PERFECT for drawing arrow-pushing mechanisms
    • The pages bleed through a little bit so it is best to use a light pen
    • The pages are easy to write on (though on rather thin end)
    • It is just the right size, the pages flip easy, and the keeper works out great to either keep it closed or keep your place like I use it
    • the pages won't bleed through.
    • The pages were made of good kinds of paper and also durable
    • Soft cover, slightly yellowed pages (I'm not a bright white paper kind of person), smooth paper, etc
    • My only concern is how lose the pages are
    • I love how the dot grid is faint, yet easy to use to lay out my pages
    • I've never used this type f notebook before, but other than the not so good page quality, I loved the notebook
    • Lovely thick pages make it difficult to bleed through with heavy ink
    • The elastic closure keeps the pages neatly closed and protects them from all the stuff in my purse that might otherwise discolor the paper
    • The pages are thin, but acid free, so the ink doesn't fade or bleed
    • I prefered the plain pages over the ruled because I sometimes tend to write bigger than the ruled lines
    • It's a classic notebook with lay-flat smooth pages for writing ease
    • The pages are sturdy, and the elastic keeps the edges looking nice
    • Great size and pages are " lined " which is what I wanted
    • really disappointed especially because i paid $20 for this when i could’ve gotten a $5 one from michael’s.. the pages are very smooth but almost any ink bleeds really bad
    • They hold up, the pages are nice & durable, the cover holds up under every day use.
    • The pages feel nice and I like that you can keep it together with the elastic strap
    • I prefer the plain pages where I can draw or make mind maps
    • But if you want something pocket-sized, with a hard cover, which enough pages that you can doodle and sketch field stuff for weeks, then it's pretty much your only choice
    • One of the best journals I ever used, smooth pages bookmark and durable cover that has yet to bend or break
    • The pages held up very well and there were no tears, there are a few dings on the
    • I love the cream colored pages, the simplicity of the design
    • While there's a hardcover and a nice elastic band, I don't like the super thin pages
    • I've heard some critiques on the binding but have never had an issue - except for when I've ripped out pages, because of the way they're stitched into the binding
    • Although I loved the look and feel of the journal cover, the pages were too thin
    • The page bleeds
    • The hardcover and elastic band that closes the book protects the pages well.
    • The hardcover and elastic band that closes the book protects the pages well.
    • The only downside it trying to rip out pages from it
    • It's very sturdy with crisp pages, a nice elastic band, and a handy bookmark that I've tugged on a couple of times (unintentionally) and it has stayed
    • The pages lie flat when you open them.
    • It has a nicely made elastic band that holds it closed and keeps the pages clean and tidy
    • The pages are fairly durable
    • The squared pages make it easy to write in.
    • It's fine if you prefer thicker pages because you write in sharpies, fountain pens, or oil paints; maybe you even stamp out your journal entries with woodblocks dipped in ink
    • The pages are very nice and it's well made
    • I love the texture of the cover, and the pages are very nice as well
    • Every page I write on you can see through regardless of the pen, and I HATE the way the pages feel.
    • Arrived slightly damaged, with the bottom right corner of nearly every page bent/wrinkled
    • Smooth, flat pages.
    • I'm using free notebooks I got from career fair instead because they tend to be easier to write in with sturdier pages and stays open easier etc...
    • Only complaint is that the pages are thin -- not enough to bleed through necessarily, but often visible through the other side if you are paying attention
    • I've always preferred unruled pages for the greater sense of freedom.
    • For those particular, pages are thin and inky pens bleed through to the back of the page.
    • Moleskine has done it again, I always am tempted to go somewhere else because these are expensive but overtime I touch or write on the beautiful pages of my moleskine I am in heaven
    • The pages are thin in this one though, if you are an artist or like writing in thick ink I'd recommend the artist pages, they are thicker.
    • It was not clear to me that these were unlined pages in this "Classic" notebook.
    • The listing indicates the notebook has 192 pages, but that's incorrect
    • I would only suggest making the pages pre-cut in case you need to rip a page
    • Thin pages, it will bleed if you get any less than the best quality pen.
    • The pages are thin and cream colored (not my favorite) but in this kind of notebook it doesn't bother me
    • and you also have to be careful that you do not rip other pages because they are all binded together
    • The pages are crisp and easy to write on
    • Every page is worth about 7.3 cents if I did my math right

    • It does not smudge as long as you let the ink dry for a few seconds
    • I am a graphic designer and I love small sketchbooks as they are easier to carry around with me
    • It's a very usable and durably made plain notebook with acid free ivory colored paper that is a fair bit heavier than what you'd find in a cheap composition notebook.
    • A shame because I have used Moleskine for years, but not anymore since it won't work with the pen I have always used: a cheap Pilot G-2.
    • Then I wrote on the first page with a gel pen, nothing crazy, just a black Pilot G-2
