The material is excellent, and whether it was pen, sharpies, or water color work, this book handles it well.

so if you do landscapes this is great, but if you are more of a loose-goose artist like me who is accustomed to painting big and elaborate pieces, this book will feel like a ipod mini.

Once it dries, you can stack some heavy books on top of your sketchbook to try and flatten it out a bit, but the warping doesn't bother me so much

As happy as I was to see Moleskine watercolor notebooks, after trying them, I went back to the Strathmore books, and will remain with them unless and until Moleskine decides to put "real" watercolor paper into their otherwise fabulous books.
