Moleskine Watercolor Album Sketchbook - 5"x8" Sketch Pad for Drawing, Watercolor Painting, Sketchbook for Teens, Artists, Students

    • The material is excellent, and whether it was pen, sharpies, or water color work, this book handles it well.
    • so if you do landscapes this is great, but if you are more of a loose-goose artist like me who is accustomed to painting big and elaborate pieces, this book will feel like a ipod mini.
    • A great little book
    • Fantastic paper quality in a handy little book for drawing or painting outdoors
    • Overall, I really love these little books.
    • great little book! love it!
    • It worked very well as a travel book, since it is small enough to carry on your bag, with a good size to write some essays and brief stories about your day trip
    • I would have preferred a portrait format book.
    • There are better watercolor books out there if your purpose is watercolor painting, but for the way I use these, they're perfect.
    • I love these books
    • I love moleskin watercolor books
    • I often paint extended landscapes (running across two pages) and I can easily hold the book flat to work a larger area
    • Beautiful book and great size, however pages begin to buckle with anything more than a light watercolor application
    • It's a beautiful book with nice, thick, watercolor paper and came exactly as advertised!
    • It worked very well as a travel book, since it is small enough to carry on your bag, with a good size to write some essays and brief stories about your day trip.
    • I love these books and can't imagine using anything else
    • It's a nice little landscape oriented book of watercolor paper
    • Otherwise, overall a marvelous portable water colour book that I can carry with me and make my painting's when I choose.
    • This book is a great size for travel and the watercolor pencils don't bleed through at all
    • It's not a bad little book, just a bit too pricey for what you get I think.
    • This book is also extremely awkward to hold due to it's landscape
    • Also very much appreciated is the portability: anyone who is serious about art will probably at some point want a handy book to record visions
    • This book works well for sketches and practice painting, however if absorbs all the watercolor paint and makes it difficult to spread
    • Beautiful book and great size, however pages begin to buckle with anything more than a light watercolor application
    • I love this notebook, it's a great travel watercolor book with high quality binding, and thick paper
    • I love this book so
    • This book is really nice, but it's the paper that counts for serious watercolor techniques
    • Once it dries, you can stack some heavy books on top of your sketchbook to try and flatten it out a bit, but the warping doesn't bother me so much
    • Great little book
    • I love this book
    • It appears to be Smyth sewn with very small signatures, meaning a strong, durable book that will lay flat when opened
    • I bought it because it seemed to be the perfect little book to bring with me, small enough to fit in my purse for whenever inspiration struck
    • It's a great book
    • This is the first time working with any watercolor paper/book, so far I will say I love this book
    • I'm trying to teach myself to use watercolours and this little book is perfect for practicing techniques and strokes without wasting full-size sheets of watercolour paper or cutting them into trial size bits
    • I love this book
    • so I could paint when the mood hit, and this book has been perfect for that
    • I love this book
    • I am taking a star away just because my book came with loose stitching on one page, so that the page fell out when I opened it the first time
    • The pages are a good quality watercolor paper and the book itself opens comfortably for out-in-the-field use
    • Always love these little books, use 'em for inspired cards as well as for when I walk & want to paint a view
    • As happy as I was to see Moleskine watercolor notebooks, after trying them, I went back to the Strathmore books, and will remain with them unless and until Moleskine decides to put "real" watercolor paper into their otherwise fabulous books.
    • I can't stress enough how good this book is
    • This book is tiny, more like a little planner than a large notebook
    • I can't understand why the books are so popular - the paper is heavy and all that, and doesn't buckle, but I expect more from my paper
    • This is a very, very, very good watercolor paint book for traveling
    • I am quite happy with the results and my book is beautiful
    • This is a great book for journaling
    • Overall, it's a great quality book that works absolutely perfectly for my needs.
