I absolutely adore this journal, not only is it extremely compact and portable, but the pages are of good quality as well

I love the color, I love the pages, and I really enjoy using this product

The pages lay flat when painting and there is a little storage pocket on back cover.

The fact there is 75 wonderful pages is even better

Binding seems like it's built to last, the book opens nicely on every page (some sketchbooks open awkwardly once you get past the first few pages) this one uses a woven string in the binding so every page is fully accessible

The cover is beautiful and the pages are great for watercolor or colored pencil.

(the page will curl a bit, but will lay flat after it's dry)

And you can make really big sketches if you work a double page.

There's enough pages to "edit" your work and use pages for things like testing colors, etc without worrying that you are using up precious space/paper

The book was just the right size for my backpack and the pages have with really stood up to all kinds of conditions.
