Great if you like to write with fine point pens, terrible if you don’t, especially since they’re sold as medium points

Better than the last Mont Blanc refills I bought at Staples which didn't fit well--the point was never fully extended.

The original rollerball in the pen was a fine point and I found that there was often gaps when

I really wanted to be impressed with the stylus tip and ink quality over the Pilot refills, but I can hardly tell the difference, but with one disclaimer, and that is that the Pilot FINE point tip rollerball gel ink functions nearly identically to the Montblanc MEDIUM point tip ink

so I sized up to the medium point and prefer this size to the fine point.

I sent this on back because it is a medium point, and I always use the fine point

I use my MB rollerball fine point only to write checks as I like the notion of using a $500+ pen to manage my finances.

They were fine points.

but in the future i will buy the fine point instead
