    Mortal Kombat - Playstation 3

    • Since it appeared in the early 90s, Mortal Kombat has been loved and adored by fans for years with it's colorful characters and rich history
    • There are extremely clear counter-characters to each other, in which one has no chance against the other in even mediocre hands
    • It was really fun, with the new fatalities, and some new characters
    • Now, it's not as bad as SFIV's Ryu and Ken issue that, to this day, is still so bad that people who just want to play for fun, like me, refuse to play online, simply because there are clearly elite characters among the others.10
    • From what I've seen, you can't go 4 player online on all different consoles,(<= one of my few gripes here) but you can play you vs a friend with your respective two best characters
    • What happened to the realistic character look of the old games
    • Your character takes damage in fights as you see bloody scrapes, broken masks and torn clothing
    • There are more than enough characters and each is unique in style and special capabilities, and more importantly there isn't a bad apple in the bunch
    • " that can't be broken down into individual hits, characters have unique move strings similar to Tekken that they can freely break to link to other moves
    • Great characters, a ton of different modes and very good online multiplayer make this a must have for fans of the series and fans of fighters in general
    • I mean you can still play as kratos from god of war and there are a few other characters as well
    • This game features all the best characters the series has to offer
    • characters look realistic, the arenas are beautifully detailed, and the violence has never looked this bloody
    • Forget all the previouse Mortal Kombat games and just remeber this one , game play is amazing and smooth , great characters none of that Mokap nonsens and Meat , if you played other MK games you know what I am talking about
    • Each character has their own combos with certain button sequences, just like their special moves.
    • Every character felt smooth and responsive which was definitely a blast to play and felt the nostalgia again but stronger than before
    • Each character responds differently ...such as when Smoke gets turned into a baby he farts, falls down and then starts crying lol.
    • There are some minor problems such as the characters
    • Very good game, a lot of action and good fights & characters
    • The best way to describe this game is--take your favorite characters from MK I, II, and III, bring back some of your favorite arenas from those games, give the whole thing an HD new generation facelift, and ramp up the violence as high as possible
    • Love the characters, and all the hidden bonus features
    • The game is fun and addicting every character has that "something" that makes him
    • Mortal Kombat has better character models than ever before, graphics that are jaw dropping and awe inspiring, yet immature and impish at the same time
    • Gone are stupid characters like Mokap and Drahmin
    • Vaguely familiar characters fighting to the death in the background, ominous faces glaring at you from tree trunks and dragons pitted against hellicopters in dogfights overhead
    • are my favorite fighters but it takes alot to fully master a character
    • We all know that certain characters are deemed as "cheap" (I'm looking at you Smoke and Noob Saibot...), and it's way too easy to spam projectiles
    • Using one segment can enhance your character's special move
    • It shows you your favorite characters, as well
    • Your favorite characters are back with their best moves as well as some new ones.
    • My favorite characters to use are Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Noob, Ermac, and
    • The characters are awesome.
    • Pros:--Pretty easy combos (a few characters are more difficult, but for the most part)--Love the x-ray combos the characters get when they charge up--Good story line--Lots of good extras--Can play 4 player!!--I really like the challenge tower...it mixes things up.
    • The characters look amazing and you will feel right at home if you're an MK fan.
    • On games such as Deadly Alliance and Deception, classic character moves such as Cyrax's net, Sektor's homing missiles, Scorpion's scissor kick, and most notably Shang Tsung's morphing ability.
    • With Mortal Kombat Armageddon, the developers thought that by returning every character from all previous entries would add enough flare to help revitalize the franchise.
    • I like this game because it seemed no matter who I played against they seem to have a favorite character that they would bring to the fight a willingness to learn more effective ways to defeat me
    • this games brings you classic characters plus kratos what more can you ask for. new and better fatalities, new costumes (good and bad in some ways), and my personal favorite classic fighting with badass combos.
    • Honestly, I'd love the game if the only characters it had were the ninjas (cyborgs included), which isn't to take anything away from the rest of the characters, 'cause they're great too
    • There are tactics, but unfortunately you have to fight him with two of the weaker characters (move-wise).
    • Lots of awesome characters
    • Back in June 2010, when I first heard the news that a Mortal Kombat reboot was in the making and going back to the traditional 2D fighting plane rather than the 3D which made it less fun over the years, having classic characters returning, the original stages and background music from the first three games, and fatalities making a comeback this was truly a well packaged gift to all the long time Mortal Kombat fans such as myself
    • Some character's can knock off 40% of a player's HP in the right situation.
    • The game has 27 of the best and most well known characters that we all love
    • His games have always been over-the-top with violence, similar to Mortal Kombat, and his moves and fatalities not only fit his character, but fall right into place in the Mortal Kombat puzzle
    • Unfortunately for everyone who enjoys fighting games online solely to win and not for fun, MK suffers the same fate SFIV has: There are only a couple of newb-friendly characters that can be extremely easily made effective against even moderately-skilled players
    • Great characters, bloody fatalities and beautiful graphics
    • For instance, an uppercut won't necessarily knock them up like it would any other character
    • The PS3 version sees the added benefit of playing as Kratos, lead character from Sony's hit franchise "God of War".
    • I just wish you could play as Shao Kahn, who happens to be one of my favorite characters, but a future download should solve that
    • Nothing special about it, I've seen more gore in movies and the online SUCKS as it lags horribly.
    • When I like a

    • Firstly, after you press start, the title menu screen lags as it's loading
    • Great visuals (never seen the U3 engine look so good), great sound, great fighting mechanics, lots of content, a Story mode which SSF IV lacks) robust and fun online (although not as good as in SSF IV, but it's just a matter of

    • Despite the rivers of whiney tears cried in protest to MK vs DCU's T rating and lack of gore, the WB partnership was forged early on.
