Mortal Kombat successfully reinvents itself by maintaining the mutilating fatalities that made the game a hit in the 1990s but also offering a lot of great new gameplay features to attract a new generation of fans.

Maybe some people enjoy that masochistic gameplay, but I for one do not, especially when the best solution to winning (playing cheap and hardly using special moves or combos) is not an elegant solution

I recommend this game..and to anybody who said Tekken is better than MK..you can hardly compare gameplay wise..however..from a whats inside the game standpoint

the gameplay is an improvement over previous MK titles, but it's not up to par with fighting greats like the SF series, Tekken or other fighting games with balanced and well-executed mechanics

Very smooth gameplay, crisp graphics, great sound of crushing bones, a lot of kontent to unlock to keep you entertained, AWESOME FATALITIES and very fun challenge tower aside from other mini-games like test your might!I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS GAME!

Both in terms of fighting depth and absurd violence, Mortal Kombat not only puts the series back on track but finally has the solid gameplay foundation to go with it
