    Mortal Kombat - Playstation 3

    • (a 4 player mode); pretty cool, eh
    • The implementation of an actual decent story mode which caught my eye several times on youtube.com
    • King of the Hill mode is shaping to be the preferred mode people will gravitate to online
    • It has great graphics, entertained story mode and good fighting combos
    • A lengthy story mode, plenty of challenges, unlockables, and lag-free online multiplayer (and split-screen multiplayer).
    • Of the modes available are a decent bunch of tutorial based modes; you can even endure a walk-through on how to initiate some of the fatalities
    • Tekken 6 IMO..was somewhat of a letdown(i havent fully played it)..but i dont really like their story mode
    • Return to 2D gameplayReturn to the dark, bloody roots of the series - bloodiest fatalities ever!Rich, full story mode that delivers many shocks and surprises - for the first time in the history of MK, people actually
    • Mortal Kombat 2011 delivers a great game, the graphics are amazing, many characters to choose from, has a great story mode, challenge tower and tag team kombat plus the mini
    • This has an overall story mode for most of the characters as well as a Tower mode with 300 challenges
    • The online mode could use some improvement (such as being able to see an opponent's connection strength and to decline matches if the connection is not good enough) but the competition has been capable
    • Another mode I get a kick out of is "Test Your Luck" where you have to face an opponent under various random conditions that are sometimes to your benefit .... sometimes not.
    • I love the training mode, it's so awesome that they added fatality training
    • One new feature is a fun tag team mode which is taken from the Marvel vs Capcom series
    • Though the game's online modes could be better, you won't be disappointed with Mortal Kombat in the least bit.
    • Ladder is the classic mode where you fight your way to the bosses which include Shang Tsung, then either Goro or Kintaro and finally Shao Khan
    • It's got an cool story mode and many other mini games that will keep you playing this games for a long time.
    • The challenge tower is probably one of my favorite modes offered
    • I love the story mode
    • The game is overall entertaining, has the best story mode of any fighting game I've seen since it let's you play with most of the characters although difficult at times, fatalitites as you may know are all
    • The game also let you play Ladder mode, which is the classic arcade mode MK had on the 90s
    • Multiplayer and story mode are very very cool
    • good game, i like the change in the series, good graphics and gameplay, fan would really like it, story mode really good to kill time
    • Even with some minor variations, including the appearance of MK4's Quan Chi, this retelling doesn't feel like a filler found in most games, including other which included this mode recently like the DOA series
    • Not only does the mode offer a variety of playing experiences, but it also helps you learn all the characters move sets
    • These are good, worthwhile game modes to get into
    • Agree with the rate "M" not "T", great history mode like a movie
    • I have played through pretty much every mode available except for the online mode
    • Great story mode
    • With an insane amount of game modes, ranging from regular ladder modes and tag team ladder modes, to a 300 level challenge tower, to an amazing standalone story mode that marvel vs. capcom 3 needs to take a hint from, this game will keep you coming back for months
    • Cool story mode, great action,
    • First by giving us a halfway decent story mode to play through
    • The game has a surprising, yet totally awesome Story Mode
    • Besides a return of classic moves, this latest entry also sees a return of classic modes such as "Test Your Might".
    • crazy awesome and story mode takes you for one hell of a ride
    • From a story mode that's surprisingly decent for a fighter, to standard arcade and training as well as various challenge modes, MK9 will find a way to hold your attention
    • No amount of online play stuttering could ever ruin that, and with the addition of the superb single-player mode, even its online flaws aren't enough for me to rank it down from five stars.
    • Yes, this MK support tag teams mode where you can fight up to four players at the time at home or taking your home partner online with other two either way
    • There is tons of replay value with great online modes and a huge Story Mode and Challenge Tower to keep you hooked
    • the game it's awesome the x-ray mode just make wanna play
    • This is the first fighting game I have played with a very lengthy story mode
    • and I consider the worst in the series for many reasons with poor story/adventure mode.
    • Got this game a few weeks back, and has been a lot of fun playing this game, Love the story mode and the verses mode
    • has a new an improved solo game mode.
    • It plays smoothly, in a way that will be intuitive to any long-term players of the MK games, and on top of that it has probably the most interesting and entertaining single-player story mode I've played through any fight game.
    • I love Story Mode, Challenge Tower, the Arcade Ladders, the X-Ray moves, the fatalities, everything, I love
    • As far as the new game goes, I liked the story mode
    • The great story mode is complimented by a healthy amount of additional content in the form of multiple single-player and multiplayer game modes
    • Classic Arenas!Dark gory fatalities!Babalities for nostalgia!Best story mode for a fighter period!Hundreds and hundreds of things to unlock!Hidden things a plenty!TOASTY!Stage fatalities!Arcade
    • The modes it features are insane such as rainbow combat, fighting upside down, sometimes the arena tilts, endurance rounds, extras such as test your might returns along with similar such as test your strike, test your sight, test your luck and many more insane challenges that await you
    • Very Challenging game modes
    • There is also Test Your Luck, a fun little mode that adds a variety of random modifiers to a match
    • Gone are the clunky 3-D aspects of Mortal Kombat from renditions past.
