(a 4 player mode); pretty cool, eh
-
Boss fights will aggravate even the most skilled and hardcore players
-
Pros:--Pretty easy combos (a few characters are more difficult, but for the most part)--Love the x-ray combos the characters get when they charge up--Good story line--Lots of good extras--Can play 4 player!!--I really like the challenge tower...it mixes things up.
-
Overall though, the Story Mode is a great single player experience for a fighting game
-
I haven't played an MK game like this since MK Trilogy, and I'm happy to see it in 2D again, its a good that Netherealm Studios listened to what Capcom did with SF4, but in my honest opinion, I like this game better, my only gripe is that there is no single-player versus mode, seriously what the heck
-
A good game will reward you as a player for learning the game and moves
-
Most notable is the Challenge Tower, a series of 300 challenges that test the player's skill, but more often than not tests your patience and frustration thresholds.
-
some of the best players barely use combos.
-
Practice modes, challenges, arcade, story, and a robust multi-player experience combine to create a near utopian view of what a fighting game SHOULD be.
-
Every player has lots of movements like a real fighter
-
While a great single-player experience, the real fun is in the local multiplayer, like all fighting games
-
the best fighting game of all time, very realistic effects are incredible players brings many more love this game
-
Online, there's a site where you can register and display your rankings too, to see how you compare against your friends as well as other players.
-
I did not observe them to be interactive like they were in MK3, where you could knock players up to a higher level of the same stage (i.e. from subway to street level)
-
I see the better players will probably be saving their power bar for combo breakers unless they just really want to see how big of a combo they can pull off.
-
Other than players crying and complaining about which character is "nerfed" or "buffed" online, online play is a blast
-
Boss fights will aggravate even the most skilled and hardcore players
-
No amount of online play stuttering could ever ruin that, and with the addition of the superb single-player mode, even its online flaws aren't enough for me to rank it down from five stars.
-
The biggest pitfall with Story Mode was the 1 vs 2 battles, where you (the player) had to defeat a tag team of opponents
-
Not saying that they're bad, but that it makes it annoying when the computer's AI can string together combos fluidly for ridiculously high hit counts while the player will have a slight pause or break in their string that will most likely cause foul-mouthing at the TV
-
The Krypt works much like it has since Deadly Alliance, offering players a chance to get some extras in the game.
-
Unfortunately for everyone who enjoys fighting games online solely to win and not for fun, MK suffers the same fate SFIV has: There are only a couple of newb-friendly characters that can be extremely easily made effective against even moderately-skilled players
-
its the little things that make you a very good player at this game..... excuse my punctuation with this
-
This is definitely one of the better single player experiences in a fighting game.
-
Nothing special about it, I've seen more gore in movies and the online SUCKS as it lags horribly.

Firstly, after you press start, the title menu screen lags as it's loading

Great visuals (never seen the U3 engine look so good), great sound, great fighting mechanics, lots of content, a Story mode which SSF IV lacks) robust and fun online (although not as good as in SSF IV, but it's just a matter of

El juego es un exito, la jugabilidad increible, el tema que te muestren como hacer los fatalities y brutalites esta genial
