The game is really balanced, the characters are really fun to play with, and the animation is perfect.

I also am a big dc comic buff and enjoyed using those character's as well

It's cool that you can pick the DC Universe characters as well as the Mortal Kombat characters.

Also, the fighting engine is experimentation friendly, so neat and useful (not just for show) combo's you will soon discover with your favorite character wether you create by accident, through practice or see someone do one against you online

It comes off more like some characters are just plain better than others when you master their special moves

I like that the DC characters have fatalities as well as the classic MK characters, but the fatalities are so basic (and lacking in brutality) that I don't even want to bother with them

I do like the Deathstroke character on the DC side - pretty cool using that pistol shot to the face of your opponent!In comparing this game to the most recent MK game, Armageddon, though this game is much more polished and the set designs and graphics look nice, Armageddon offered a lot more in terms of gameplay and particularly a much better developed story mode

Now that I'm an adult its nothing like that old school arcade feeling right at home with some other popular characters that I grew up with getting it on in an all out rumble in the jungle if you know what I mean.

The game is very detailed, each character has a very noticeable personality and moves a certain way; visible damage on the uniform after you lose a round

Of course everyone is going to feel this character should have been replaced with that character, so there's no way to make everyone happy unless you do something like they did in Armageddon and have ALL the characters available to play with

Really cool on being able to play with the legacy DC Universe heroes and have all the cool Mortal Kombat characters in 3D, really awesome game, go get it.

We tried a large number of the available characters to see if there were any balance issues and the only thing we noticed is that the characters with bladed weapons (baraka/deathstroke) seemed a bit overpowered with their blades out... but maybe we just didn't like to block. ;

I'm still playing the game and having fun trying out the different characters, but as these are the main characters from the MK games of the past, I know Sub Zero, Scorpion, Katana, etc

Not only that but, add to the mix, great character models and graphics-detailed environments-all-new fighting mechanics-signature attacks and finishing moves

I like the merge of DC characters both villain & hero as well as the Mortal Combat characters

I would have loved to have seen characters like Doomsday, Clayface, Kalibak, The Specter, Raven, Trigon, and Bane.

Now that I've played it enough to know the different move sequences with each character, I need to buy the original Mortal Kombat because the original characters are amazing as well

Considering this has characters from a comic book incense, well they are not very good, almost like a juvenile attempt.

Mortal Kombat and DC both have brought some great characters to the game.

There's the classic arcade mode where you take one character and fight your way through the ranks, ending with a really tough character who you will have to have a few goes at before you get that win
