The phone was a good price and was guaranteed unlocked, whereas, other Samsung "unlocked" phones are actually not -always- unlocked

No prepaid carrier seems to be offering the G in their lineup, just the E. So pricing is much better on the E - you can get prepaid plan discount pricing, instead of paying full retail
