The cameras are great and the front camera is honestly the best I have ever seen on a smartphone
-
I like the camera
-
The camera is very good, but I'm not taking pictures for magazine covers.
-
The camera is terrible, and doesn't take decent pictures no matter how the settings are
-
My first complaint is the camera is very slow
-
Main camera is amazing however front facing camera could use some work, seflies look too soft sometimes.
-
It is a much better value, with 64GB instead of 32GB, a better camera, larger screen (I actually wanted a smaller
-
The phone is good, but frankly if you can handle a little longer load time and lack of cosmetic features this phone is useless and go to the Moto g5 plus, the camera and screen are a little nicer on this but not worth the price point
-
The cameras are great
-
I love the design of this phone, my Moto G5 was the same size and made out of metal, but for some reason the X4 seem smaller, I love the display, the USB C port, NFC, Earphone jack, but in less than a week the camera seems sluggish, the onboard storage is taken by more than half by Amazon already, so you are getting like a 17GB of storage not 32
-
I would also recommend picking a case that will protect the back camera since it sticks out rather prominently.
-
Probably a slightly better camera and a phone that is a bit lighter
-
I like the shake light and camera
-
The main issue i have had with it tho is the camera its fast and fast loading but it has a major problem with focusing 30 sec longer then my s6
-
, camera is amazing!
-
but if you're going to be using this as your primary camera and having a great camera that takes super vivid, high resolution photos is important to you, you'll probably want to pass on this and go with a Samsung Galaxy or newer iPhone
-
Grab a 32gb micro SD card with it and you got yourself a cheap version of iPhone x only with slightly cheaper camera and battery life
-
Much better camera in the MXPE.
-
Camera is garbage, lots of bloatware
-
Great camera, beautiful display
-
This phone is a completely nightmare! It supposed to be a good phone with a good camera, that's why I ordered it
-
I love this device and a great camera.
-
The camera can be a little slow to load and respond when you hit the shutter button, but it's not terrible.
-
I like the shake light and camera
-
Camera was terrible.
-
Amazing double camera amazingly fast, the Sterling blue with glass cover it's from another world, sadly stop charging after two months and beyond repair.
-

-
Unfortunately, the camera isn't as nice as I was expecting after all the hype
-
It might not be the phone of choice for a heavy gamer who needs a ton of storage or someone who HAS to have the best camera
-
Speaking of photos, the dual rear cameras are "good" but not great
-
Camera is dope
-
Wife complains that it isnt a samsung but it works just fine and camera looks nice
-
works for straight talk right out of the box, Great phone, Love the camera but the battery life I still question
-
Finally the cameras are definitely not the best they are definitely better on paper than in actual use
-
It has a good screen despite being LCD, good sound, it's pretty quick (except for that damn camera) and I'm really happy I picked this one over the other budget phones out there.
-
Amazing phone battery life and camera are great no issues with overheating like I had with apple and the Google pixel and not obscenely overpriced great purchase.
-
Amazing camera.
-
I chose this phone because it promised a great camera experience and stock android with timely software updates.
-
The only other downside to this phone is the camera is slow to focus
-
The camera could be better if it had a decent software program to go with it
-
I couldn't remember where that setting was, so I had to look it up: open the camera app and swipe across the screen from left to right to get to a settings menu, where under Storage you can specify where you want your pictures saved
-
Great camera for under USD 400.
-
The camera is mediocre, especially indoors and the lock screen freezes on a semi-regular basis
-
Very responsive and the camera is indeed excellent
-
Bottom line the Moto X has a better processor, better screen, better cameras (16 mp front camera!), and NFC, which I wanted
-
My biggest gripe is still the camera.
-
Noticed phone loosing power rapidly, keep chargers handy in car, bedroom and family area, uses usb-c, which is the futer, like lightning which is better design, can plug in with out questioning direction, buy good reinforced cable if leaving in while driving
-
With the battery and memory issues will delay purchasing needed accessories(USB type C, better charger
-
I purchase the Moto X 4th Gen as a backup phone as well as for use at home on the WiFi for feed bluetooth speakers, or listen to Audio Books etc.
-
Its not as great as I had hoped and that screen cracked already for NO reason, I have NEVER had a screen crack on a phone and I have dropped and tossed my phones and here I did nothing and already a cracked screen after LESS than 2 months
