I should have tried to get this phone repaired earlier, but I thought the GPS issue would get resolved and it never did.

I used this as my primary phone for about 9 months and the phone itself is still working (with the exception of an odd GPS issue).

The GPS issues with this phone make it unusable for me

I did not notice any GPS issues during the 2 days I was using it before I sold it on to a friend

I thought maybe there was some difference between the standard and Prime ROMs, but I've since seen some users of the Prime model also having GPS issues

Apparently this is a problem with all versions of the 4th gen Moto G and is due, at least in part, to the lack of an accelerometer (compass).This makes the phone pretty useless since GPS is an essential feature to me
