Love the USB charge because you don't have to be at the boat (or where ever you keep your dock) to get a charge.

Batteries hold a good charge so far, we will see how they do in the long haul (I always carry a couple Anker 25600 mAh power banks and 14W solar charging panels just in case).

IT was hard to tell when they were charged and Nicad's have a bad memory problem with incomplete chargings.

Charging is done with a micro-USB cord so easy to have with you and no need to bring bulky charging cables.

One works and lasts forever and one doesn't stay charged for a long time but great otherwise.

Its the first that I've used that doesn't include a cradle charger, even though the case has the contacts to support such charging.

Battery doesn't stay charged long when not in use or plugged in to charger, but I prefer using AA batteries anyway
