It seems very sturdy, and we love the little shelf on the front

The lower shelf works great to hold my sound bar and the cable management holes in back were of sufficient size to route all necessary power and audio/video/HDMI cables.

I then have a UPS backup/power strip to power everything (it allows me to move the cart to different rooms without losing power at all), and I have an Xbox One on the main shelf with the kinect on the top shelf, a DTV Box and a Logitech Harmony remote hub sitting on top of the xbox.

I left off the lower tray, and put the Apple TV box on the top shelf.

The top shelf is very strong and that's where I put my AppleTV and Topping Audio Amp.

The shelf is sturdy enough to hold my DirecTV box although its the most tedious part of the assembly.

The base is wide enough to hold our sub-woofer for the Samsung soundbar we mounted on the shelf and the mini genie from Directv fits perfectly on the top shelf
