This did not matter to me given the way i use it but in my case, the TV is hanging much like a painting and i would not move the tv on the stand without coming up with a way to secure it better.

I used this cart with a Sharp 43 inch TV and it's perfect.

The only thing that may cost you some time is to find a right hole on the metal bar to put in bolts (and whether to use a big or small spacer) at the back of the TV, as there many choices, or sometimes it will be blocking way when you hang the TV on it
