Most mounts that I have used allow attaching the TV to a mount plate and then hang the plate onto the support arm.
One negative, there is a mounting plate that attaches to back of tv; depending on the location of the connections and which ones are used; the plate could be problematic, blocking some tv connections.
The mounting plate obstructs the HDMI Input on the monitor
so I am able to access one of my HDMI inputs, component inputs, as well as the TV's main
I deducted one star due to the plate being a pain to remove from the arm and back on again
