Other shelving mounts (like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Swiveling-Wall-Mount-Shelves-Shelf/dp/B00IUPHWYE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451433644&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=tv+shelf&psc=1 ) were stuck to the wall and consisted of a wide black piece extending down the middle, which was unappealing to me since all electronics couldn't swivel together.-Less things on the desk makes the desk usable again.-I like the spacing in the middle and 2 separate metal pieces

Using in our bedroom, great space saver

Load weight is enough to hold a router and game console.. nifty little space saver!
