With a moveable stand, it's much easier to work with but don't expect to easily switch out cables on a daily basis, if you share a tv with roommates/siblings/whatever and like to switch devices, make an arrangement, that they keep the cables plugged in, otherwise, it's going to be a chore trying to reinsert hdmi cables everytime.

I should point out that you need to do a bit of manipulation to line up the bolt holes, but they do line up - For the "plate" that you hang the TV on, insert and partially tighten both bolts on one of the upright bars first before doing the other upright bar.
