Like most of the other reviews here, the smell is horrible.

I see the manufacturer is posting replies to these comments with suggestions on how to deal with the bad smell, but in my book, you should not have to go through extra hoops just to make something useable

I originally bought this hoping to have peace and quiet in car rides and other areas, however when opening the package I smell what smells like burnt plastic

I'll update if the smell finally fades or they fall apart.
