The non retractable wires between the earbuds and the base were another story.

Don't like the dangling wires for the earbuds.

It worked great.... until an internal wire came loose after 3 months

The wire to ear piece may come loose if being pulled too hard, and will result loosing audio.

There is a very small piece of flexible plastic at the point the wire enters the earbud which looks like it is meant to protect the wire.
