The steam warms the milk but never gives you the froth/foam that is necessary for a good cappuccino.

This is a Mr. Coffee Espresso Machine (the cheapest) so don't expect it to change your life, but if you aren't obsessed with exquisite coffee and will settle for a perfectly decent espresso, cappuccino or latte and don't want to spend a fortune this is a good alternative.

I bought another one which is like the original, the same as this model, and I love the delicious cappuccino it makes, and the ease of use
-
It’s ok for the price, but don’t expect a GREAT cappuccino or latte
-
This little machine makes a great espresso and cappuccino
-
Makes a great latte and cappuccino
-
A small machine at a great price gives you barista-worthy lattes and cappuccinos !
-
I was particularly interested in the claim that: Frothing arm makes creamy froth to top off your cappuccinos and lattes
-
Makes great espresso and cappuccino
-
You can make a really decent cappuccino with this puppy.

My only problems with these is that (a) they break down after a few months (even with cleaning, I've seen multiple of these get clogged and break down, maybe it's because of all the calcium in Florida tap water?); (b) they're made with solid metal piping inside, so even when they get calcium buildup, you can't break them open and fix them yourself, you just have to buy a new one); and (c) the espresso gets cold fast, leading me to believe it wasn't hot enough to begin with
-
It is less expensive, but does not function as well as, some of the "fancier" Euro brands that appear to have gone up in price a lot since I last bought one
