    • I own another mug warmer from this company, and it's worked great for years
    • This mug warmer is exactly a month old and its black lacquer started peeling off right after the first week
    • Does it warm an extra large mug all the way through evenly
    • This is a mug warmer, not a hot plate designed to boil your coffee.
    • I would say this is a good mug warmer, though I wish it were just a bit hotter.
    • I have several tall and skinny mugs, as well as a few thick and heavy mugs, and it works equally well with them all
    • It does not heat it up so if you put a cold mug with cold coffee, coffee won't warm up.

    • I got this mug warmer and it worked beautifully for a week
    • I got this mug warmer and it worked beautifully for a week
    • I imagine many average ceramic mugs will not be perfect on the bottom
    • I love my mug warmer.
    • It is simplistic - it doesn't have a pressure plate, or automatic turn off, or specific temperature control - but it definitely is my favorite mug warmer that I have found

    • Does make bottom of mugs pretty warm sometimes
    • There isn’t really a good option for keeping a ceramic mug hot in a cold room, so I guess that this might be a good as any of the other thousand options on the market and this one is relatively cheap.
    • Without a cover of some sort on top of the cup the liquid just barely stays warm with this mug warmer
    • Works well enough with my thick, well-made ceramic mug or travel mug, but not cheap, thin mugs
    • The other is that I love big mugs and some of my mugs don't fit securely on the little hot plate -- so I have to use a standard size mug and get up to make tea more often as I work or game
    • Some mugs work better than others
    • Even though this is cheap, it’s best to avoid it and look for something else (perhaps a battery operated self-warming mug etc)

    • Only drawback is the surface where I place the mug already has a few little scratches

    • Does not seem to keep my heavy mugs as warm as I like it
    • This mug warmer is a strong 4 stars
    • I love this mug warmer

    • I bought this coffee mug warmer with the intention of it keeping my coffee hot as served but it didn’t come close to warming it up to any extent even between having to wait between patients at work
    • It doesn't make a noticeable difference with large mugs that are completely full of liquid (the laws of thermodynamics still apply, and water can absorb a lot of heat energy), but smaller mugs or ones that are half-full are kept nice and warm
    • To be fair, I also don't have any flat bottomed mugs, which might make a difference but given how warm the mugs get anyway, I'm not sure it would make a huge one.
    • The mug I used was made of stoneware and it works.
    • The mug warmer heats up quickly and definitely keeps my beverages warmer longer
    • It does what it’s supposed to do, but I recommend a thin ceramic mug if you want to feel any actual real
    • So far it appears to keep the mug WARM, real warm however the liquid inside the cup.....not so warm
    • mug- best mug to use is a stainless steel mug, retains heat the best- use a silicone lid to keep the heat in especially when the mug is full to half-full.- no need of a silicone lid if your mug has only half the coffee/tea- make sure to switch on the warmer when the coffee is hot, leave it on as long as you want to drink hot coffee from the mug- don’t forget to switch it off after use- there might be a burning smell, I smelled it the first couple of times I used the

    • My mugs aren't particularly rough on the bottom, but even the mild abrasion of setting one on the surface can scratch the plate, and then the finish starts coming off
